adarmo
It's an online casino. Gambling is illegal in China but it's not illegal to buy BTC or other crypto. I don't own it and probably never will. It seems like the reason to buy it was because of crazy gains historically and if you'd bought it back when £1 would be enough to buy a country estate or whatever. I suspect the opposite is true. Certainly will be interesting to see what happens if/when exchanges go bust and what happens to access of wallets etc. There's no security or state backed guarantee for this unlike 'worthless fiat' . Jesus Christ what's going on here.......... I think this is probably my last reply to you until you stop trolling this thread. For clarity I trade BTC... if you'd taken the time to read my posts you'd realise that, I've said it dozens and dozens of times. I sold all of my BTC around $42K as I predicted the price was going to break down. I haven't bought any cryptos since. I don't owe you any explanation for anything, so stop asking. Not sure about that. One is a difference of opinion, the other is crass gloating. Good luck to people who made a lot, enjoy the good fortune, no need to rub it in peoples faces though. rollover
The cryptocurrency bubble bursts… More than $200billion has been wiped off the cryptocurrency market today alone. Digital currencies are plunging in value today in a so-called 'crypto winter' that has lost investors billions and is fuelling fears that it is the harbinger of a wider stock market crash. The world's second largest cryptocurrency Ethereum has joined the crash - plummeting in value by 20 per cent over the last 24 hours. They have all been sharply decreasing in value over the past few days including one currency that has lost 98% of its value as fears for the global economy spread and investors start to sell off risky assets. Blobsy
Inevitable correction. About time. Healthy in the long run. I'm ready to deploy £500 on BTC soon (As much as I'm prepared to lose). P.S I hope Saylor has a good supply of tramadol.

Huggy
Not Bitcoin thankfully https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/terra-luna-ust-crypto-price-crash-b2076655.html Quote I lost all my life savings, Quote But I got greedy hoping to get more money so I can at least afford a downpayment for a house for my family. I guess no house and savings then. Quote I lost over $450,000, I cannot pay the bank, I will lose my home soon. I’ll become homeless. If only there was an easy to remember phrase that we could tell people so that they don't invest more than they're prepared to lose. Back onto Bitcoin. It teases me with £21k and then shoots back up to £23k. Oh well, looks like I won't be topping up my fat sacks today then.

Best buying opportunities happen at these times. When a stock falls, or a currency, or an asset there's a story. Bitcoin fell 'coz'. It rockets 'coz'. It's just roulette. You might make millions, you might lose everything you put in there. Far too risky for me. Makes no sense for price rises other than mania and faith and I literally don't see the point to it. It's too slow, it'll never replace cash or any other money. just mho. You've done well out of so I can't take that away. But from where I'm standing it's little different to getting the millionaire raffle on the lottery or something.

hotblack42
Luna has lost 99.98% from its ATH. 98.4% down in last 24 hrs to a mighty $0.02. Its still being traded! I guess that's possible with made up nonsense, rather than an instrument that has at least some tenuous link with reality such as, you know, an inventory of materials or products, premises, employees, IP, services that are of actual use, where common sense cuts in & trading is suspended. All that old fashioned 'value' stuff, so 2020..
