FANG
Sir Kier Starmer is no leader for the people. I think this all boils down to competence. Brexit served to provide cover for noisy incompetents. Now the incompetents are in charge, no amount of noise will cover things up - especially when the Captain shouts full steam ahead into the Iceberg field. The sooner Boris is removed, along with his coterie of f**ktards (Patel, Williamson, Hancock, Cummings, Jenrick etc) the better. It would also be great if the replacement also undoes the Brexit f**kwhittery too - even the piloting skills of Chewbacca in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon couldn't get through the field of flying turds and detritus created by Boris! That's the problem, he seems just to be the negation of Boris and the Tories. Nobody knows what, if anything, he stands for except being 'electable' e.g. pro-Israel and pro-defence industry, and he just goes around in a blue tie being "better than Boris". What are his policies? Does anyone know?
Warlord
All started under Blair/Brown. 2003 Lisbon treaty allowing the whole of eastern Europe into the country . The tories have taken baby steps to correct this (Brexit) but its long over due. They are also borrowing and spending just like New Labour and will inevitably make an even bigger mess. This is going to take a generation to sort out i.e 20-30 years . Politicians have to accept they need to cut spending and downsize the government . There is no other way. Yeah, this is it really. If you have massive credit card debt, spending more will not get you out of it. 8 minutes ago, Warlord said: This is going to take a generation to sort out i.e 20-30 years . I actually disagree. If we told the politicians and their hangers-on (everyone from the Elite to those on housing benefit) to go pound sand, it would take 5 years max to sort everything out. It would be a painful 5 years, but at the end of it, we would be the world's strongest economy per capita.

FPTP is the worst system of all for translating the wishes of the nation's voters into a representative national assembly. In the search for a more representative system, many nations have changed their electoral systems, some more than once. Some have moved away from FPTP. Not a single one has ever made a change to FPTP.
