We should stop listening to the argument that the Ukrainians are fighting wrongly. Yes, Western tank armies have beaten Soviet-equipped ones easily in Iraq and Kuwait but this was not because they had Western tanks and Western officers: they won because they had total dominance of the air and thus could use precision strike weapons anywhere in theatre. We should give the same capability to Ukraine, firstly in the form of proper full-fat ATACMS and then by making sure that the coming F-16 fighter jets are equipped with everything up to and including the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Munition (JASSM), which is everything that Storm Shadow is supposed to be and more. It’s time to cease taking counsel of our fears and end the stalemate in Ukraine, by taking steps no more aggressive than those we have already taken. The West needs to get this war wrapped up, so that we can look elsewhere.

I suspect this is just the start, the horror of what is head might be unthinkable. China might be coming to meeting, may be....may be not. I can't believe just how badly "They" handled everything.......things even the dogs in the street knew better. Mike Oh yes. The established order have gone bat $hit crazy. Too much inbreeding and nepotism that has made them incompetent. That and their megalomania and psychopathy. The BRICS nations know this and are now testing the water and striking whilst the Western order is in the beginning of its decay. They have probably planned and waited for this for a few decades. They are laughing their a$$es off as we aim for net zero whilst China is looking to get their hands on any fossil fuels they can find. You just need to look at the political leaders of the west and the standard of diplomacy in general to realize there is not much hope. It's beyond a joke at this point. There is nothing to do except watch from the sidelines and stock up on popcorn. The west deserves to go down the drain. The political establishment are too corrupt and the masses are too stupid. fellow
Retail display firm, Quantum 4, to close after entering administration https://www.business-sale.com/news/administration/retail-display-firm-to-close-after-entering-administration-225128 Quote Quantum 4, a Leicestershire firm that designs, manufactures and installs retail display equipment, has closed after falling into administration earlier this year. The company, which was founded in 2002 and is based in the town of Market Harborough, appointed Opus as administrators in August. Opus said that the company’s collapse was attributable to the twin impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis on the UK’s retail sector. The company suffered a severe setback in October 2022 when its primary customer halted a store development programme and withdrew their orders. Subsequently, additional customers also either cancelled or postponed orders, as retail sector firms sought to cut costs amid the cost-of-living crisis. Based in Dalgety Bay, the company designs, manufactures, installs and maintains signs for a range of industrial, commercial and public sector clients, including the Ministry of Defence. The company also operates Lofthus Signs in Aberdeen, which specialises in engraving and vehicle graphics, and Jasmine, which provides print, signage and creative display services, and is also based in Aberdeen, plus a satellite office in Peterhead. A statement from administrators FRP Advisory explained that serious cash flow problems were cause by rising operational costs. The business has now ceased trading and the assets will be marketed for sale. This means that 50 employees have been made redundant, with two retained to assist the administrators. Work to transform the site is expected to take 18 months. About 500 people are directly employed at Grangemouth. The company said it was working closely on this project with a "range of interested parties", including the Scottish and UK governments, and said it would provide more information in due course.
