Brexit What Happens Next Thread ---multiple merged threads.

Forwarded from friend on Reddit Brexit was (and is) pushed through because the EU planned a law (implemented 3 days before the vote) that removes the ability for companies to effectively use off-shore tax avoidance schemes. The Brexit undertones of the EU's impending anti tax avoidance legislation https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/opinion/the-brexit-undertones-of-the-eus-impending-anti-tax-avoidance-legislation/21/06/ by coincidence, I just rewatched this doc on the Uk / City of London & its Vi's controlling many off shore tax havens, despite denying it The Spider's Web: Britain's Second Empire (Documentary) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np_ylvc8Zj8&feature=youtu.be

  15. An often overlooked crucial benefit point with hybrids & ev's is that of battery regeneration via braking. These cars are small power stations, almost every time you take your foot off the accelerator in them , you are generating electricity, particualrly down hill , This drastically reduces brake pad wear , a major pollutant Losing a wheel will help folks extend range / use less resources..😉 Three (wheeled) electric alternatives to Morgan's EV3 https://www.carsguide.com.au/oversteer/three-wheeled-electric-alternatives-to-morgans-ev3-65734

What/who will collapse first in 2018

Surely you'd have to compare it to what benefits Uk migrants recieved in EE countries. Got any figures? From articles like this , it appears like they can get very little .. In search of the only Briton in Poland claiming benefits https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/19/-sp-search-for-only-briton-poland-claiming-benefits Edit: from this article it provides some figure on Uk subjects recieving EE country benefits https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jan/19/-sp-thousands-britons-claim-benefits-eu
  20. some one must have worked this out, at least with a ball park figure. last year I test drove a Tesla Model S . the driver before me was sent by his accountant, as they said business leasing the Tesla was a no brainer money saver when comapred to an equivalent ice merc or bmw if the driver did high mileage. ie it was 800 quid a mnth to lease the tesla, but 40 a day (200 a week) would be saved in fuel - elec charge cost if the tesla did 200 miles a day , so this fuel saving paid for the lease completely THey said business leasing an ev over an Ice had tax advantages . Did this get a mention ? 22. Tiny houses can work in some circumstances, with some benefits. ie reduced space to heat, forcing reduced consumerism / debt due to lack of space to collect / sore stuff. Mobility of work force The down side is not often mentioned ie. they are easy to nick as they're on wheels. often T.H. are too expensive to buy . I work with a community group trying to design cheaper building systems for shelters.
