I was saying about the crap properties:

Don't think I have seen a 1-bed flat in Zone 2 for under £200k for a while, even if this is quite a poor example. This seems set to drop under that.

At £150k this is probably right for the type of person that could live there. A first time buyer earning £30k with a deposit of £30k. Sadly I think it'll be bought before it hits this price, renovated a bit and turned into a rental.

20% was 25% for a short while but then they had a re-think. Something tells me it will be back  to 25% again in short order.

Interesting... £80-£100k northern houses have been my target properties over the last few years when looking on RM etc. And from my experience searching at first glance this appears a very decent house for £80k. Here's hoping a few more £100k houses drop at least 20-25% in asking prices.

not a 20% plus drop but...well look at it.

Apparently the impeding collapse of the aviation business with the loss of 6000 jobs in Crawley doesnt phase this vendor.

So with this hanging over the area...put the price up.

Doncaster seems to be taking a pounding currently...? Not surprising. The Slough of the North.

I was looking at Hull, but I kept seeing too many local headlines such as "body found outside takeaway", "pregnant woman kicked in stomach", and "drug gang knife feud in stairwell of tower block". So decided against it. Plus all the women seem to be tattooed purple-haired piles of lolloping redundant protoplasm.

It's on for OIEO £70k with another agent. I think it's probably cheap because it has no back garden.

There has been a lot of work done with a new conservatory, but to think that it would sell for all but a £300k increase is just peak kite flying IMPO.

Interesting property.  It's really very nice, good location for commuting and a nice leafy area.  Plus compared to Laaaandon property it's reasonably well priced.  It's exactly the sort of thing the London exodus should be snapping up, and yet it sits nearly £300k off initial asking price.
