jiltedjen
several people have already said that its due a bounce, i would assume there is a perceived 'value floor' somewhere. This could be a few bullish investors trying their look at calling it. It has fallen very far, i'm pretty happy with that! as fun as it is to see it dribble down and down over the previous weeks. Not exactly a HPI win is it?

Not exactly a HPI win is it? Seeing Estate Agent shares continue to fall and Home Builder shares now level off or start falling again already, despite May's HTB extension announcement, strongly suggests this is a one way bet and no props can keep it alive. We're cresting the HPI madness, finally. How steep is the slope on the other side?

Mr Banks
21 minutes ago, Patient London FTB said: Foxtons up 5% today to 69p, not clear why. i guess its because of the Halifax figures and more likely https://www.estateagenttoday.co.uk/breaking-news/2017/10/upbeat-survey-shows-big-surge-in-properties-coming-to-market Estate agents need prices volumes more than rising prices. So i guess mainly the latter.

Estate agents dont need increased prices they need increased transactions. Now increasing prices do lead to increasing transactions or actually the other way around. Especially those fixed fee jobbies. They really don't care about the price.
