Countrywide and purplebricks not showing this miraculous mini recovery...so you could be right.

The stock pick channels are touting it as  bullish cross on the 50dma.

Maybe some body expects a rate cut ? Lol

Builders being hammered today...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41913031

BBC...

"Housebuilder Persimmon led the FTSE 100 lower, falling 3.8% after issuing a poorly received trading update.

The firm gave few details in its update, but said that sales were "in line with the prior year" and "pricing remains firm across our regional markets".

Rival builder Barratt Developments also suffered, sliding 2.2%"

Someones leaked the Autumn budget, which cuts HTB and gravy like that, and increases taxes on non OO property.

Probably.

Let's hope something like this is behind the decrease. It's usual on here that people believe stock price increases are due to leaked documents/inside knowledge. Be nice if the opposite were true

PB still has a way to go given it's 300% up on last year !

It's down 28% from peak so it's heading that way.

Lookin at the EA shares they gained on the HTB announcement but maybe the outrage against it has mean it's being withdrawn.

We can only hope

I thought the HTB announcement was a fait accompli - you're right though, it's pending further details in the budget.

Glad I emailed the PM's office and complained about the idea.
