The 7000 psychological barrier is broken, so the next dip could be quite dramatic, obviously depending on what the Dow does.

Glad I went in all cash the beginning of Jan. Waiting for new ISA allowance in April so I can plow more funds into miners and PMs.

This is the year I think we’ll see the shit hit the fan. Even if it takes a couple more years to reach the bottom.

In the bank - if all assets fall in value, that just means cash is rising in value.

No it doesn't, unless what you can buy with that cash is more and more over time - which is clearly not the case.

We save money to buy stuff in the future.  A positive investment return is something allows us to but MORE stuff.

The fact that cash is only losing value at 3%ish per year due to inflation whereas stocks have fallen 10% does not somehow mean cash is rising in value.

When I looked this morning the FTSE dip was busy being bought. Now I'm delighted to see that it continues to dip (although has perked up slightly to a shade over 6900 - reckon this will reverse by the end of the day though, if the general trend is anything to go by).

Looking at this, the Dow (now below 24k), crypto (bitcoin now back down to around $8600) and various "asset classes" hissing from the "everything bubble" grows ever louder :D
