nnails Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 feel sorry for the staff years ago i had my car insurance with norwich union. when someone damaged the car the people they sent it to damaged the air con or it was never fixed. not quite sure. because of this i will never have insurance with them ever again and tell everybody i know who ask me about car insurance. Bill D'arblay Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 I agree. My car was insured by them. Was parked in a parking bay and got rammed hard by a car insured by Churchill (UK Insurance). The guy tried to do a runner but the Police caught up with him and he admitted liability. It took 2 years to get my £350 excess back, I never got hire car or loss of earnings. Between them, Aviva and UK Insurance stitched me up so I was unrepresented in court. Now I have a CCJ and am paying UK Insurance £20 a month for their 'legal costs'. Staff at the Aviva base in Chandler's Ford have been told how the company intends to quit Natwest House, one of its two premises on the Hampshire Corporate Park. Employees here will move into the remaining building at Chilworth House next door - a move that will be complete by the end of 2016. This news came as the company announced plans to close a number of its offices at UK sites elsewhere. Let's say your job was not needed anymore - moving across sectors is one of the hardest undertakings these days. workingpoor Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) I have recent experience, i got 3 weeks per year of service, this was from a large UK Defence Equipment Provider. There were no ageist extra's for people over a certain age just 3 weeks per year across the board. That's not typical though and i'd expect 1 week per year is the norm with possibly more for over 40's. Could be made to work their 90 days notice also.
