Kite-flying vs priced to sell:

See it everywhere, people trying to equal the record price for the block.

Those who bought at £500k+ might be in for a long wait.

Any losses will take a while to sink in.

However if we see wide spread losses panic may set in.

They've got similar boxes available in Ryde for about half the price.

My aunt knew the chap who sold the land - he had an old fisherman's typoe cottage on there he lived in, sold up, bought a flat next to it and then died. These are very similar lookign to a lot of houses at Pett Level just down the road. First one large box shaped hosue popped up - OK, quite individual looking! Then everyone decides they need the same lookign house; they probably think they are so individual. I have been going to Winchelsea Beach since the 70s as my aunt lives there and have seen it, and Rye which I also lived in, become more and more gentrified. The worst thing with Winchelsea Beach is that it used to regularly flood but just has shingle and a clay wall holding the sea back.

What is the best price change tracker plugin in everyone's opinion.

You don't need to chose one over the other. I use both PropertyTracker and PropertyLog on Chrome. The relevant info is displayed in different sections of the page so no visual clashes.

Sometimes there seem to be missing data from one so i find it comforting to have both installed.

The narrative is that everyone is moving to (detached) houses in the suburbs with gardens. While I don't doubt this is true in rural provincial England, the deadweight of London is definitely weighing on the home counties. Similar sized semi's have traded on this road at this level in the last 5 years.
