My 2020 Microstrategy shares in my SIPP have fully recovered their paper losses from 2022 and are trading higher than ever, and one of my best performing holdings in 2023 , that and Tesla. Interestingly, Microstrategy has outpeformed bitcoin. MS is in a good place with FASB accounting rules set to change too. Check out Saylor's Q2 financial results. So many gems within his presentation. https://www.microstrategy.com/en/investor-relations/events-presentations/q2-2023-financial-results-webinar-recording

If you’d sold out on HEX you’d have made it big time and that would have been lucky but you got greedy and you’ve got a lifetime to reflect on that now. Couldn’t happen to a nicer poster. Maybe you can get a job at a supermarket now and tell everyone how you spent all your gains on a Tesla clown car. My Crypto sales and purchases are documented on here, Sale was October 2021, BTC and HEX , $500k disposal. I paid £38k tax last year, mainly CGT. Try trolling harder please. Most will get rekt playing with $hitcoins.

Clark Moody data Maybe. But there's never been a halving during a recession. Which we may well be in by spring next year.

Warlord
You won't believe this @markyhand @MonsieurCopperCrutchbut im getting loads of requests to take Bitcoin. So many I am now thinking about it again What is the best place to buy coins ? Where do you direct people ? What's the best app? I haven't looked at in years and a lot has changed. I want it to be as easy as possible for them to buy coins & trade. Bearing in mind it's still a complex thing for many people.

Also had a couple of 0% loans against my holding which is a useful feature.

Trading as in commerce not trading as in instruments if you know what I mean I want the easiest solution for folk to get coins and spend them [with me]. I will also need to write a little blurb/explainer. Fortunately I'm experienced with it but I haven't looked at it in years. I will have to eat some humble pie in the process..... I have Nexo (already mentioned) and Kraken account. Kraken requires KYC , even though it's USA based but works with UK banks pretty seamlessly. Nexo you can fund with a debit card or BACS too and doesn't require any heavy KYC that i remember. There are lots and lots of options to buy Bitcoin now, to many to consider. But @MonsieurCopperCrutch and I have years of successful operations in and out of Kraken in £££ six figures with no problems.
