"The troika has not accepted all the measures, but we have alternative proposals," said Socialist leader Evangelos Venizelos, a junior partner in the ruling coalition who was briefed by the finance minister at a party leaders' meeting. Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras played down the inspectors' objections, saying they had rejected only a "few" measures. A senior Greek government official had said earlier that the troika had sought more details on the proposals to understand them better. Are the Greek measures merely something which looks like they are saving money without actually saving anything?
interestrateripoff
It's also demanding that the work day be lengthened to a potential 13 hours (minimum 11 hours' rest between shifts). But will they actually work for 13 hours or merely find distractions?
Bloo Loo
It's also demanding that the work day be lengthened to a potential 13 hours (minimum 11 hours' rest between shifts). I also want my business to be open 8 days a week, in fact there should be a law..... Fact is, if they cant fill the unemployed with work, making the hours longer will make no difference whatsoever.
