The drones are used to make the defenses busy then missiles come in. It's a strategy used in Ukraine too. Who knows if that is what they are planning. Also Israel's Iron Dome isn't as good as its hyped up to be. Hezbollah sends in cheap missiles to exhaust it and then sends in the big ones to strike targets. What's in the news is surreal... it feels like an improbable plot in James Bond, where an overly elaborate plan, that didn't need to be disclosed in advance, is telegraphed widely... then there's a prolonged period where the dastardly process can come unstuck in a plethora of ways that shouldn't surprise. Is this entire situation the idea of a 3rd-rate science fiction author who couldn't decide between penning a comedy or tragedy?
