And just maybe the dismantling of the welfare state is the endgame? It seems a plausible explanation as to why tptb want to let so many into EU who will not only not contribute but will also be a massive drain on the system

No communities, no other power structures or strong associations, just individuals naked before the all powerful state.

Conversely Spain has virtually the lowest per capita influx. Climate-wise I would have thought that Spain would have been more attractive than a colder northern European country and the Muslims were very much part of Spain's history, genotype and culture. Without digging deeper I can only assume that Spain's welfare system is not attractive and thus a deterrent. There may be a lesson here for other EU member states.

You're right that the welfare isn't as generous in spain

The other reason is the Spanish won't take any crap

They're still fiercely proud that they fcked the muslims out of spain in the Reconquista (something just about every village and town borough celebrates religious festivals every year in the most un-PC way imaginable - Spaniards 'blacking-up as moors and getting hacked to pieces by Crusader knights etc - I know that's not historically correct but you get the gist)

Also spain is still fairly cohesive with family, church and state firmly in most people consciousness

Non of this applies to seperatist Catalunia - the catalans are lefty arsy fckers (like scots nats) and it's no coincidence the biggest mosque in spain is in Barcelona - fck em - they'll learn the hard way

Yep, guess so, sounds plausible too. But think it will backfire as I can't see individuals willing to work hard, pay taxes, smothered in student debt, and able to afford to buy a home when there are loads of people culturally enriching thier enviroment and taking the said same tax money whilst not contributing. Once the sheeple wake up, it's going to get nasty fast.

You mention the Scot Nats. As a Scot I am concerned that there are many parallels with Scotland and Sweden. Both at the northern extreme of Europe, both have strong socialist leanings, both with an easily abused welfare system, both with a similar sized population. Currently inward migration is kept in check to some degree by the UK Government because it is their remit. If Nicola Sturgeon and Co achieve separation, Scotland could very quickly become like Sweden with all the consequential immigration problems. Sturgeon wants immigration and an open door policy. Unfortunately Kezia Dugdale of Scottish Labour wants the same thing. Even Ruth Davidson the Conservative leader said that a second Scottish Referendum should not be blocked by Westminster. I believe the major parties are already structuring themselves as a separate entity and preparing for separation. I truly fear for the future of Scotland in so many ways.

The English are probably sick of the whole thing and want the Scots to get on with it and go their own way, and i can fully understand why, however, if we separate England is going to suffer significant irreparable damage as well. I wish the English politicians and the English population would give a great deal more time and attention to this potential significant threat, and not be simply focused on the EU situation, before it is too late. Sturgeon and Co need to be confronted now! May should have the sphericals to call her out and say No to all her current demands!!!

I suspect that if Scotland did become independent and had lax immigration policies then many newly-arrived immigrants would speedily head south to England. That would present some interesting political problems.

According to ccc the solution is to have them form orderly queues at the border while they have their passports checked

If you have a proper border - then yes that's perfectly reasonable. You do realise that happens in nearly every other place on the planet ?

Agreed. Sturgeon is a mini Merkel and is a massive risk to Scotland.

I heard the other day in a Stefan Molyneux video that apparently only 2% of the Migrants are employable and that 2/3rds of them cannot even read or write in their own language. In short, these people will be nothing but a drain on society. What is also frightening is that they breed like rabbits. We could see the bankruptcy of the Welfare State in many European nations if something is not done sharpish.

I consider the death of the welfare state the one thing that might ultimately save us.

Depends how late it happens though...

I can believe this, and that the end game is a police state, and that various intelligence agencies are involved in ISIS. OffGuardian has just done a Gladio piece and I can believe all that, but its the idea that these terrorists are all controlled seems unlikely to me.

If Mossad and MI5/MI6/CIA were all over ISIS, there may be influence, and double agents and all that stuff, and arms supply and financing, but there would be very little control.

Because of the very nature of terrorists and terrorism you'll have all sorts of fuitcakes going off-piste all the time.

I can't recommend Joseph Conrad's The Secret Agent enough, its over a hundred years old, and its a black comedy, but I think its probably an excellent model for terrorists and terrorism right up to this day, and its an easy and entertaining read - or listen.

Some SJW's peddle the False Flag / MOSSAD / CIA / MI6 theories in the aftermaths of terror attacks, usually the underlying message / aim / motive is "Direct your anger at your governments"

or "Banks" or "NWO"

or some such.

i.e away from those who carried out the attack and their supporters.

Obfuscation.

Clever & Subtle & designed to divert.

They think they are tackling Racism or something.

I've no idea:

The circus: How British intelligence primed both sides of the ‘terror war’

I'll believe that one. Betting on both sides.
