spyguy
Sometime death, which sounds bad, is better than living with dementia. Weirdly, I've mentioned my Nana in a recent post (tonight). She died for me when she stopped recognising me. Weirdest thing I've ever had was for my Nana's face not to light up when she saw me - Im crying typing this! She hung on physically for about a year but that was not my Nana who died. Someone else, totally. Hope your OK and deal with the crap that lands on your doorstep with death. whocares
You have a good attitude to live and death Mr Pin, but I am still sorry that you have lost your (old) mum ... as it's always sad to say goodbye and to know it's forever? Hope there will be some good family time for you around the funeral arrangements and that all goes smoothly. This cold weather does tend to see off a lot of the oldies so might be quite busy at the funeral directors if/when.you have to go to one?
