The West clearly does not have the capacity to re-stock the Ukraine with weapons

NATO Defence Spending - $1,200,000,000,000

US Defence Spending - $900,000,000,000

European Defence Spending - $240,000,000,000

ruZZian Defence Spending - $60,000,000,000

A budget one quarter of Europe's - and the war is in Europe, so there's no chance of Europeans forgetting about it.

A budget one fifteenth of the olde enemy the United States of America.

A budget one twentieth of NATO's.

putler is outgunned, outplayed, outmanned, outsmarted, outbudgeted, and outfoxed. The demented midget's tin pot, dysfunctional, pariah, failed, terrorist entity has one skill, which is digging stuff up and selling it - a bit like Saudi Arabia except the KSA spends more on its defence budget, but still however misguided Saudis are they aren't about to take on NATO. No foetal alcohol syndrome sufferers there.

In my opinion British engineering is in decline, how many helicopter or tank building companies left.

That's a moronic comment. Big tech like this favours conglomerates organisations. Hence why Russia merged sukhoi and mig. And Westland merged with Augusta to make Leonardo helicopters who still manufacture in the UK.

The biggest salesman for the F-35 is actually Putin

Marketing the products Britain makes seems to be a big fault line

Maybe countries want a relationship with the US not just a weapon system

You're deflecting quite spectacularly.

Russia (Wagner) actually had a fight against western stealth technology and got their asses kicked at the Battle of Kasham. You are next level coping here my friend.

Also he's talking ****** as dreadnought actually made all pre-dreanoughts obsolete in 1906.

Torpedoes had existed long before this.

Naval aviation came of age after Taranto 1940 proved it and before this aircraft carriers were secondary to battleships of the 1930s.

So 1906 - 1930 is a good life for naval tech and lifespans.

Makes you deeply ashamed to be human, if this could be redirected to housing and medicine and transport that would make the world a better place

Oh grow up. Spending less than 3% of your entire government's budget because of psychos like putler is not a reason to be "deeply ashamed".

I do not believe building weapons to kill other human beings more efficiently is a mark of civilisation

On day 585 of putler's 10-day war military operation;

Biden says US ‘will not walk away’ from Ukraine amid budget turmoil

The US president reassures allies and Kyiv after a last-minute budget deal in Congress axes funding for the war-torn country.

United States President Joe Biden says aid to Ukraine will keep flowing for now as he seeks to reassure allies of continued support for the war effort. “We cannot under any circumstances allow American support for Ukraine to be interrupted,” Biden said. “The vast majority of both parties – Democrats and Republicans, Senate and House – support helping Ukraine and the brutal aggression that is being thrust upon them by Russia,” he said in an address from the White House.

Since it's not UK government policy, I suspect this is more Shapps trying to position himself for the leadership once Rishi loses the next election. The same way Truss is holding meetings at the conference. Which crazy do you want in charge of the Tory party?

For the bargain price of $1,200,000,000,000 we get the occasional holes blown in a bridge in Crimea and a 4 month counter offense that has just about managed to seize a village.

It's pretty obvious the funding from America is over, after such stunning results the GOP don't appear to be all that keen to inherit this abject failure.

Tory Grant Shapps speaks to mostly empty room as party struggle to fill seats

Top Tories have been forced to stuff the front rows of the hall with their own aides so broadcast cameras have people in seats to cut away to during their speeches

Do you really think the US will stop funding Ukraine at the present level, and cut the number back big time?

I probably share your enthusiasm... though I'd prefer to game AI directly. AI does not, pretty-much by definition, create information. 🙂

Do you mean before or after the next US presidential election?

Yet again, we see the warmonger pack minority descend to bang the WW3 marching drums, to deny any man having a valid peace seeking opinion. As it was both before and after 500,00 dead and wounded, perhaps another 8Bn dead will be enough.

Can't really argue with these observations regarding Grant Shapps being a 'newly minted moron' 😆.

So here we go again: the genocidal maniac who lost his 3 day war threatening nuclear war through his proxies ;)

As I've pointed out to you several times, there is not a genocide in Ukraine. The data just doesn't fit the narrative.

Total civilian casualties: From 24 February 2022, which marked the start of the large-scale armed attack by the Russian Federation, to 13 August 2023, OHCHR recorded 26,384 civilian casualties in the country: 9,444 killed and 16,940 injured.

Before the next election, Biden and the republicans both think the biggest threat to US hegemony is China not Russia and I would agree with that assesment, both the US and China will benefit from a weeker Russia but China did not pay to get that result, her arsenal is not empty.

From the same link you provided;

Quote

OHCHR believes that the actual figures are considerably higher, as the receipt of information from some locations where intense hostilities have been going on has been delayed and many reports are still pending corroboration. This concerns, for example, Mariupol (Donetsk region), Lysychansk, Popasna, and Sievierodonetsk (Luhansk region), where there are allegations of numerous civilian casualties.

Your narrative is bogus, you tw*t, what we are seeing is the biggest tragedy of our times - so the west must give Ukraine the tools it needs to defend their country and kick the orcs out asap. Once that's done, then those who committed genocide, rape, abduction of 1000s of children, torture, beheadings, and mass murder will have to be held to account before ruZZia is allowed to cease being a dysfunctional, pariah, failed, terrorist entity and permitted to function as an independent state.

Your naivety shows no bounds; China is a huge, powerful, and strong country but is no threat to the US or EU - it relies on them for its money and power. ruZZia is the weak outlier here and is doomed -  the EU, US, and China are all safely watching from afar and working out how to divide the spoils once is collapses.
