For once the Mail comments are worth a read:

Boris' joining a "little known" trial to avoid self isolation, doesn't wash with public.

Hancock said: “If the app tells you to self isolate then you should self isolate, if an NHS test and trace contact tracer tells you to then you must by law.”

I was wrong, I'd read the wrong information, apologies. But in my defence, it wasn't clear on the government websites, at least to me.

The whole thing is a total joke.  Was watching the GP at Silverstone this afternoon and we had 120k people with no masks and no social distancing.  Then I caught the end of the Open in Sandwich and it was the same scene.  Meanwhile the idiotic cabinet are going on about bloody pings and self isolating.

Countries gone nuts.

Thanks for admitting it, so many people don’t recognise an error!

I think the government have almost tried to make people think it’s mandatory to self isolate after a “ping” whilst recognising it would be a silly law if that were the case as everyone would just uninstall it.

I think in the Hancock era and also with the policing they tried to intimate things were illegal, that were not illegal.  Hence the confusion.

Government know what they are doing, this is just the safety valve before the next lockdown, if things get bad enough most people will comply again in the winter if they have had a bit of summer "freedom". The dream would be a mutation that doesn`t kill people but disrupts the economy enough to bring down a few banks.

If everything is out of control, then why close an emergency hospital in Scotland?

Someone is telling porkies.
