19 year mortgage 8itch
The Eagles' Glen Fry now taking it easy (67), RIP.Mott the hoople's drummer at 67 too.At this rate we can have a weekly boomer death pool. When the first in a week goes, we can try to match another of the same age. Looks like Ozzy and Steve Tyler are 67. Will they last the week? spyguy
Saw him live back in the eighties (supported by Frazier Chorus), very good performer. Sad. I'm 51, had some mates and a wife who didn't make it to 50. Doesn't seem that old I come from a small northern village by the sea. The last few years have a seen a very large - about 10% - people who were a few years older than me die off. I'm not sure if the mortality rate ticks up in your 40s or I come from a statistical phenomena. Ages have been 45-55. Wierdly, a large number of the parents I knew growing up are dying off - mainly the Dads. A lot of these appear to the last cough of 40 a day. I was in a high pressure high pay job a few years back, just coming up to forty. Within a year three blokes at work in the 45-55 range had heart attack (died), cancer (died), massive stroke (survived). Jigger that, I thought, I put my notice in and moved to the seaside. The mid-40s does seem to be the age when people with not great health or hidden health issues kick the bucket. To be honest, one of the people dropped dead in a hotel in Dubai. He was grossly obese. I also heard but not know 1000% that he was hitting poppers. The rest that have died have been - massive heartattack (dropping dead at work climbing some steps), a couple of cancers, and a car crash. MY partner works at a school. Tow of women there have had cancer. Both were, again, grossly obese - think MuMus/Denis Rossusouf size. Being overwieght seems to be a factor in a lot of deaths at the mo.

blobloblob
Who had Wogan? Nobody; you clearly overestimate HPC posters' abilities. Although having said that, someone did pick Graham Norton which isn't a million miles out.

Although having said that, someone did pick Graham Norton which isn't a million miles out. Pretty sure someone had Wogan last year. This is what happens when you lose conviction in your own forecasting.
