thecrashingisles
Laughable the way the bbc show the papers have already written tomorrow's headlines based on the exit poll. What do you expect them do to? They will run second editions as the night wears on.

billybong
What do you expect them do to? They will run second editions as the night wears on. It's only to be expected of them with the wording of the headline pretending that they already know the result for certain. It's still laughable. Perish the thought that they might treat it with some caution at this stage. Edited May 7, 2015 by billybong

canbuywontbuy
On the plus side, a Tory government will be in power when an unadulterated HPC occurs (which it will do, within the next 5 years) - that will be quite an eye opener for Tory voters. Guest Jemmy Button
A triumphalist SNP has emboldened Tory support in England. Ousting Cameron is only slightly below their desire for independence. I'm English born in Manchester. It has certainly not emboldened my support for the Tory knobs for me. Congratulations to the SNP for being a party that people can believe in. I only wish I could have voted for them.

stormymonday_2011
I hear the establishment had already won, by a massive minority. The 1 % ers always win the election The government always gets in. It is the problem with all political systems.

Mrs Bear
Are you making it up about Balls losing his seat - where did you hear that? I am watching the BBC so I doubt they will mention it as they seem to love him. It would be a Portillo moment if he did. Balls did not have much of a majority to play with. Not much over 1000 IIRC.
