THE BALD MAN
Why? What did she do to contribute to that wealth? They were only married four years. Why did she get anything? Tell her to get a job!
Orsino
I met Paul McCartney once. He really was one of the most charming people I've ever met. The fact that he is who he is simply serves to amplify that fact. He was very considerate and took time to speak to all his many guests that evening and the same was true of his children and his wife, Linda. Despite the fact that anyone would expect to be star-struck meeting someone who has been that famous for the last five decades, I can assure you he has such an easy-going nature that you totally forget who he is after a few moments chat. Either Paul McCartney is capable of mass-mind-control and is in fact an evil genius OR ex-prostitute, ex-porn star, congenital liar and gold-digging harpie Heather Mills is an out-and-out scum queen. wickywackywoo
I just don't understand all the hatred towards Heather Mills. Is Paul McCartney some sort of bl00dy saint? She received less than he makes in interest in a year. It didn't have to go to court, he could have just settled it straight away. IT IS A DROP IN THE OCEAN TO HIM. As to the child she will need in this day and age round the clock security so 35K doesn't even start to cover it. It's not the amount that matters, it's the principal. She never earned it, he did. Just out of interest, are you male or female?
wickywackywoo
What has she done to you? THE GUY HAS GOT 850 MILLION. 24 MILLION IS PEANUTS. WHAT RATE DO THE BANKS GIVE HIM ON HIS 850 MILLION. I BET IT IS MORE THAN 6%. What the hell has that got to do with anything. Using this type of logic people with money should give it to those with less simply for having the cheek to do well. laurejon
The divorce laws are wrong the more you have the better representation you can afford and you can even get away with murder. For ordinary people this just doesn't happen. The lawyers barristers are the winners every time. I don't like it when someone gets taken to the cleaners and if a marriage breaks down then it should be 50/50. I'm not saying the Mills/McCartney scenario should have been 50/50 but 24 million is less than what he earns in interest on his 850 million. I don't know if she lied her way into his life, whatever the case the newspapers have hounded her, anyone would think she had done something really evil. I doubt whether she needs to visit HPC but if she does "All the best and don't let the b@stards grind you down" I am sure that she didnt tell Paul M she was a prostitute, on that basis alone she should be entitled to nothing at all. Women have a responsibility to declare their past, or face the consequences.

Caveat Emptor! It would have taken MacCartney what ? £1K ? to do due diligence on her. Look how fast the newspapers dug up the dirt. If you buy a house, you can only blame yourself if you didn't get a surveyor in & it turns out to have subsidence. It's not up to the vendor to tell you, unless you asked the question direct, and somehow I don't think that Sir Paul ever said "Er, darling, before we tie the knot, have you ever worked as a tom...?" And by the same token Paul was not duty bound to tell her that should he divorce her he would be spending a fortune to fight her in court in order to win the case. I suspect this is not the last we hear of Heather Mills, she deserves nothing and will be getting very little public sympathy.
hankdd
Paul lived 50 of our lives in one year with the Beatles., he experienced stuff we can not begin to imagine. Be careful how you judge him. They all could have behaved like Nero or Premiership footballers, but somehow they remained decent people and raised, even indirectly, decent kids in extraodinary circumstances. geoffk
To me both of them are nobodys who dont enter into my world and would not like to enter into my world because its full of people who struggle to get by and who are just living hand to mouth and worrying about money and bills, so to me they are nobodys. they are fighting over money that people i know would dream of a tiny percent of it, it is outrageous when people like my parents are struggling on a state pension and the winter fuel allowence....my father never ever earned or took home one hundred pounds a week before he retired.... A:gent W00
Mrs Mills- McCartney is said to be distraught over the split "He has been my crutch for so long!!" She said in an earlier briefing, "I have no idea why this has happened, I'm stumped" She's reported to be making frantic efforts to keep the split as civil as possible. "She's running around in circles", according to a close friend, "she will need all the support she can get its not like its easy to walk out on a relationship like this"
numpty
By the way I read the case briefly... there is a line in the judgement where the judge says:- (Para 54) available on the BBC website "The wife for her part must have been swept off her feet by a man as famous as the husband" Feet is in the plural..odd that
salamander
No not related, just feel sorry for anyone pilloried the way she has been. I don't know her either, I reiterate again I can't understand all this hatred. Her problems with the press are the fault of one person only - herself. However, in her world she is a valiant single mum working hard for charidee with the world set against her. She is delusional and cannot see that she has any part to play in the events which "happen to her". She therefore cannot accept any responsibility for her actions or even her thoughts. For that, she is to be pitied. She uses her proclaimed concern for others (her daughter specifically) in pathetically transparent attempts to mask her true and selfish intentions. She may even believe her own shrill declamations. For that, she is to be pitied. She is self-obsessed beyond measure, but lacks even the faintest glimmer of self-awareness that might help her see this and start treating others (and herself) like decent human beings. For that, she is to be pitied. I am not related to Paul McCartney

I doubt whether she needs to visit HPC but if she does "All the best and don't let the b@stards grind you down" Totally agree with you. Saint Paul and Linda regularly stayed in a hotel west of Montego Bay in the 80's. Met them on one occasion and SHE was surprisingly pleasant. Despite his failure to produce anything in the last 30 yrs, still the media deify him whilst vilifying her. Why? Maybe she was a pro. ..so what. Can you imagine just how many birds he had before Linda arrived on the scene. The reality is that Mills had his child and he's worth a min of 400 mill. Even Stella called him a "mean *******"- apparently he's tighter than Jagger. No mean feat. Saint P's hubris dictated that he felt no need for a prenup (who in their right mind would divorce a Beatle right?) and the fact is he's got away lightly. Mills is undoubtedly a Jack Russel and certainly I'm no fan but she's born his child and 35K , I'd suggest would not even cover his 6 months wine bills. If he'd been just plain old Joe Soap being chased by CSA he'd have been ground into the dust. Yet another case of one law for the rich I'm afraid. Charliemouse
The government is screwing us over to turn all the hard working class into debt slaves so they work for a pittance, shackled to the capitalist system but Heather mills is doing it to screw over Sir Paul so she doesn't have to work. She does it for charidy but she doesn't like to talk about that matey.... Lets Rock.

Venger
A couple of recent articles say Heather Mills is trying to sell her North London flat she bought last year, for a lot more than she paid for it. Bought, just ten months ago, for £2.35m. For sale, right now, for £3.75m. It's in "north London", it's a flat, and there's a large silver Buddha in the hall. We're still searching for the listing... http://www.theratandmouse.co.uk/weblog/arc...er_mills_l.html More here: If the reports of the purchase price are accurate, a few flicks of the well worn beads of our bejeweled abacus shows that Miz Mucca hopes to pocket a quite considerable $1,400,000 profit in less than a year of ownership. Granted, listing information for three bedroom and 3 full and 2 half pooper spread indicates the condo is being offered fully furnished, but still.... http://realestalker.blogspot.com/2009/09/h...ing-out-on.html http://londonbrickwork.blogspot.com/2009/0...-hampstead.html
