19 year mortgage 8itch
From the BBC 1334: Mark Prisk has been sacked as housing minister. He tweets "Been asked to step aside from Housing for a younger generation. Disappointing but it's been a great eleven years on frontbench." Boles would be a bit more interesting Edited October 7, 2013 by 7 Year Itch

Boles would be a bit more interesting I found Boles to be very sympathetic towards the younger generations housing situation. His clash with Simon Jenkins was hilarious. Maybe it will be Boles as Prisk mentions he is stepping aside for a younger generation. Not really confident that Cameron has the will to take on the Tory nimbys though. The Knimbies who say No
I found Boles to be very sympathetic towards the younger generations housing situation. His clash with Simon Jenkins was hilarious. Maybe it will be Boles as Prisk mentions he is stepping aside for a younger generation. Not really confident that Cameron has the will to take on the Tory nimbys though. I can tell you this is not the case, unfortunately. He is wedded to the idea that the young should be forced to pay whatever housebuilders demand, and he defends the Government's actions designed to make that a reality. He told me himself. edit, and on topic, Prisk has been completely overshadowed as housing minister since Osborne has been all over the big announcements himself. I'm surprised they bother having a minister at all. Edited October 7, 2013 by The B.L.T.

Dorkins
Jack Dromey is sacked, Emma Reynolds attends Cabinet as Shadow Housing Minister. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emma_Reynolds This might actually be an improvement. Reynolds is 35 (to Dromey's 65) so may have some sympathy with the priced-out generation (and priced-out people of other ages too).

True, but she's replacing Dromey, who only got the job to keep the unions sweet and didn't exactly put his back into it. How many people on HPC even knew he was shadow housing minister? How many people on HPC even knew he was shadow housing minister? I'm not defending Mr Harman at all, and I'm glad he's out, but my experience of PPE-sourced front benchers is that they are very good at eliminating any independent thought in preference of the Party line, else why did they do that course and enter politics? Whether Ms Reynolds personally thinks HtB, FLS etc is a bad idea is entirely beside the point imo. Here's another climber today, this time for the blues. Mr Hancock is a very dangerous man IMO. He seems to be obsessed with saving the banks, and doesn't mind the UK losing it's sovereignty to the EU to do it.
