1 bed flat West Norwich

This one's been on the market for well over a year now. Its been at £117k for such a long time. In a desirable postcode but no-one is buying it.

They keep peeing around with the asking price .

Wow! That is ridiculous. I looked at this similar 'opportunity' a while ago:

I thought is was very over-priced, even though it is in a fantastic street that would cost you £1m+ to live in otherwise. The one you have linked to makes it look quite a bargain!

Posted this one in the East Anglia regional forum and thought I would share

Not a s***hole but worth mentioning. I predict that it would cost an FTB who bought it with a 10% deposit a good £7-800/month - the same as renting a 3/4 bedroom house in that area. So very much slave box then. :(

new 1 bed flat in Norwich £120k

The bathroom looks very poorly designed. It looks like the inside of a prison cell! But at least the prisoners get a window!!! Albeit with bars on them. And the door opens right into the open plan kitchen/living room. How delightful for when you have company.

I really don't like open plan kitchens anymore - the washing machine sits there rather than in a separate utility area so it can get noisy. Although it will be noisy enough as its right on the corner of a busy road and the traffic builds up right outside the property at rush hour. Oh and its almost opposite a Subaru dealers so there will be plenty of dreamers revving up those Impreza WRXs.

I think this one is up for rent too. On the market, it might be worth a punt at £60k. :P

BLEURGH!

The swimming pool doesn't fit in with the rest of the property. It needs a mosaic picture at the bottom of the pool and a couple of statues - greek goddeses with urn, or a couple of dolphins should suffice - as part of the pool's re-circulation system.

If they get that sorted then it gets my vote as overall winner.

^ Ghastly! Are these slums of the future?

These sort of places were featured on 'The Planners are Coming' on BBC1 earlier this week. One place that was taken down quite easily as it was so badly built and the owners were charged £5k for the demolition (very satisfying!). And other placeother place - a garage cum 'cottage' in the courtyard of a cornershop - was horrid inside.
