Germany has paid billions of dollars to Isreal since 1952 for Nazi war crimes but has not paid Russia anything to date. ...Germany should pay 3 or 4 trillion euros to Russia for the “destruction and atrocities” that Germany committed during World War II, “Germany paid compensation for 6 million victims of the Holocaust, but has ignored the 27 million Soviet people who were killed [during World War II], 16 million of whom were civilians,” article here... If so you may be on the hook for reparations to a fellow countryman who has an unbroken line of decent to the original ancient Britons...whom the Celts displaced when they migrated to Great Britain. Lots of people have suffered huge deprivations in world events, and probably none worse than the Russians over the centuries. I guess the comparison of Israel to Russia is like that of BP compensation to rich americans over an oil spill, vs Union Carbide non-compensation to poor blighted people in Bhopal. It was estimated that by 1949, 100 per cent of the automotive, between 90% to 100% of the chemical, and 93% of the fuel industries were in Soviet hands.
