cht
Peston basically just blamed Greenspan for the whole thing! Now if he would just add Gordon to that my opinion of Peston would change dramatically.

Not Long Now
The quotes keep rollling"we've got a bunch of Enrons coming" I think it is likely to be the case. There must be a fair few execs around the world who aren't getting much sleep at the moment. The problem is: so many were involved that they will need to build alot more prison cells. The point made about "Paulson bailing out his mates" was a telling one. If I were an American voter, I would be furious. Does anyone have a link to the jokes made by, was it Jay Leno, that the senator mentioned were on last night?

tegan
This is actually quite good. Glad to see one of them mention the golden word here that is curiously absent in most of the coverage - 'criminality'. This isn't a crisis caused by greed and incompetence, it's caused by fraud, lies and theft.

Smell the Fear
CRIMINALITY!!! I'm struggling to understand why they can't punish bankers and bail out the system. two different things which are mutually compatible. I think there there is a high probability of riots and murder as a result of these events.
