Sybil13
Mc Tavish would probably say that it was worth at least 6x's this , in this case I think I would probably agree it has had so much publicity.

Given the low levels of activity in the market the disposal of this asset alone could send RPI positive.
DEATH
I think the duckhouse claim and Lembit Opik's claim for wigs are worth the taxpayers money for the fun and joy they have brought to us. "The Liberal Democrat housing spokesman submitted a receipt for the “Mother of All Wigsâ€, which cost £19.99, and a £9.99 “Filmstar Wigâ€." 50%deposit
Ducking Hell!!! Made me chuckle too....http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/ind...howtopic=117786 Viggers is now a figure of ridicule in his constituency - the canard motif appearing all over the borough: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/gosport/Tory-c...ouse.5368296.jp Hilarious The latest in a long line of jokes appeared at the weekend when a duck house was placed in the middle of a roundabout at Stokes Bay, Gosport. A sign next to it reads: 'Duck house for sale, see Peter Viggers MP'. It appeared on Sunday at the junction of Gomer Lane and Stokes Bay Road as thousands headed to the beach for Gosport's Big Day Out events. Tory councillor Graham Burgess thinks the joke has run its course. 'I think it's gone far enough – he's apologised, he's standing down and we are looking for a successor,' he said. 'I think it's just been put up by some disgruntled person, but it didn't detract from the day. 'The people down there enjoyed themselves and I don't think they will have given it a second thought – it's water under the bridge.' [Peters a mature man, surely water off a ducks back? lol] Ducks have been popping up all over the town in reference to the £1,645 duck island MP Sir Peter – pictured above – tried to claim taxpayers money for at his former Titchfield mansion. Two signs with 'fowl play' scribbled on them and a life-ring with 'Viggers resign' were put up at the Walpole Park boating lakes. Charity shops in Gosport High Street have been selling pictures of ducks with pound signs on their bodies and an estate agent advertised Sir Peter's Scandinavian duck house as 'property of the week'. One prank in which someone vandalised the pavement outside Sir Peter's constituency office in Gosport by spray-painting three ducks crossed the line, and has even become a police investigation. A huge floating duck with a figure of a man in a suit on top was also seen bobbing around the harbour. Ava Brodie, 63, a resident of nearby Harbour Tower, said: 'I think we all know who it is meant to be – the smart suit, the money and the duck kind of give it away!' Sir Peter was not available to comment. Edited June 20, 2009 by 50%deposit

Guest happy?
Opps.. I'll merge. <<<Must check if already posted>>> It's only a matter of time before the duck icon goes viral as symbol for political corruption. There's bound to be fringe parties standing in the town at the next election with a duck logo.
