The Conveyancer
Why do they bother to show the rear view when it overlooks a crappy unkept garden and a tower block. What does the front overlook to make the rear favourable?
Country solicitor
You need Property bee to see the historyhttp://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-183...41&tr_t=buy It has gone from £190k to £180k to £165k and MAKE ME AN OFFER If they take another 100k off someone might. What a dump. I like the close up of the for sale sign-they must have been desperate for something to snap-perhaps it's now a permanent feature! Austin Allegro
This is my favourite: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-844...=3&tr_t=buy Like a turd that won't flush. It's been on the market for years - I'm pretty sure it was going for about 60K in 2001 when I first started looking for flats. Vibrant location (above a Chinese restaurant and opposite a council estate) and good transport links (handy for the ceaseless roar of the A406 N.Circular Rd). Gel
But, but, but it is different in Brighton. After recently moving to Brighton from Ashford I can say that the houses are more expensive here but the flats are cheaper. So is the beer. I can see the prices of flats diving completely due to the sheer number of them but houses not so much.

Guest Bart of Darkness
This is one I look at frequently http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-204...=1&tr_t=buy Can't be 100% certain but I think it started off at £69k. Now £49k. This for an ex-LA flat in a not particularly stunning area of Sheffield. Under Right to Buy it probably cost no more than 25k (guesstimation). And I wouldn't even pay that for it. JohnnyB
Damn, my work have blocked Rightmove access for some reason (probably trying to keep up office morale), so won't be able to fully enjoy this thread till I get home.
lets get it right
that is atrocious. 210k. i doubt there is room in the kitchen for even a small pan. Why would you want a pan in the kitchen? It should be in the bathroom along with the sink and bath.

Excellent turd joke and it usually happens when you're a guest, so everyone knows it was you in the bog Such architecture and locale, £210k is a snip And as the years go ticking by, the lease is getting shorter and even more unmortgageable

Yeah, its a dump! In the middle of a massive rundown coucil estate (chaville). Also see this one in another council estate for half the price....guide price at auction mind you! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-214...=1&tr_t=buy
ScaredEitherWay
It would have been a good time for the council to go round buying them up again., £25k + £10k refurb and that's another one off the list. Cheaper than paying for the B&B
Antsy
This is my favourite. The Roman-esque polished turd. But only down from 450k so far, which is pathetic. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-193...=2&tr_t=buy
MattW
ex-LA flat, Norwich A 1980s flat (one of the last council flats?) in an area of mainly 1930s style houses in an area with an iffy reputation. Has been on and off the market for the best part of a year, starting at over £100k. Now, even some of the 3 bed houses have dropped to around £105k on this estate. I suspect the vendor will be very reluctant to accept an offer at the bottom of the £75-95k asking price range.
