    Ftse Down Over 7%

    sauce?
  2. Maybe. In fact probably why the referendum was held so they could gauge how hated they are and whether it's time to let go of a few more percent of their wealth. 99 down to maybe 97.9.
  3. People mumbling, especially in an office. The equivalent to the facebook 'My life is over' or some such attention seeking twaddle posts. Just say what you've seen/read/are thinking don't try and be dramatic about it as I'm not going to ask what it is and even though posting here would make it seem like I give a shit I really don't.
  4. I'm not sure I would have picked up 2 discounted gressingham duck breasts at Sainsburys yesterday if they was allowed to open past 4. Keep the restriction I say!

What Sort Of Person Wants To Leave The Eu?

+1 Not afraid of change, I'm a gambling man - could be better or worse off depending on how I/we vote but as an adult I'll take that responsibility.
  6. People who (when paying by card) don't have their card ready at a checkout! Seriously bad forward planning.
  7. I am that driver who does the slow down, hate being sat idle! Don't do the nudging forward though, don't see the point. If a car in front does it then there's enough space for a bus sometimes between me and the driver in front (possibly to the annoyance of those behind)! I know that in practice all going at the same time at the green light would result in accidents/pile ups etc. but from a theory perspective it shouldn't present any problems.
  8. What about people who don't stop, not as in run a red, but slow down when they realise there is a tailback coming up so slow down but not enough to have to get into 1st again? I've always wondered about momentum at traffic lights, so long as you can see the light change then surely it matters not if you are 1st, 5th or 10th in the line if you start driving the minute it hits green (given everyone goes at the same speed)? (When I say always I mean maybe twice!)
  9. Some house/car alarm going on this morning a whole HOUR before I was due to get up  I am outraged.

Are You Worried About A Rate Rise?

Fair play for the poll but I doubt this was the place to get a 'national' picture
  11. Don't think so - when there are no new entrants to the market there is no market. Such a big part of the system that they've allowed to run amok it's time to start curbing it or else all goes to shit.

    Interest Rate Lift Off

I hope this is right and that there is fear of systemic failure. If 2008 is not by design then it was close then, not of the wrongs have been put right (if anything made worse) and the whole house of cards could be due to collapse again as the next generations confidence in the system dilutes.

    Interest Rate Lift Off

Here we go! Banana republic about to be exposed for what it is (houses and insurance)
  14. They'll be none of that but rest assured the rich want to go back to the pick of the peasant 'filly'.
  15. Logans run probably. I think I've posted (a few) threads on the subject eons back, no-one really knows. There are small pockets of sentiment change (but no regime change) in some people now who have their kids at home that are thirties or forties that can see what damage it's causing (esp. if expecting grandkids). An interesting angle for me (related to the children part) is how to continue to enforce this on the population, if you price out those that are there to protect the sytem (army, police etc.) then there will be a problem. Tip - go long on drone companies!
