We've has the Glaswegian taxi driver who lost the lot on her BTL 'portfolio' and now Jade Goody looks like her dream home may be coming to an end now she is no longer bringing home the bacon (no pun intended).

I know your compassion may be all spent now...but please, no harsh words.

JADE Goody is in more money trouble after she MISSED the first mortgage payment on her posh new home.

The troubled star moved into a £750,000 luxury converted barn in Upshire, Essex, six weeks ago with sons Bobby Jack, four, and two-year-old Freddie.

She hoped it would be a fresh start after ditching scrounger boyfriend Jack Tweed.

But Jade, 26, failed to make the first £2,000-a-month repayment.

A close pal said: "Jade was frantic when she realised she'd defaulted on the mortgage so quickly. It's been a year of financial hell for her because her income's taken a tumble.

CONTINUES BELOW

"Investing in the house was her way of securing a stable future. When she got the call to say the payment had been missed, she was gobsmacked."

Jade's career nosedived after the Celebrity Big Brother race row in January.

Her Living TV shows, Jade's PA and Just Jade, which earned her £150,000 a year, were scrapped. A £250,000 fly-on-the-wall show was also canned.

Her perfume Shh, which was expected to earn £75,000, was withdrawn, and plans to release her autobiography in paperback were dropped.

After being axed by her management in April, she admitted: "I'm living off savings."

Last year Jade's beauty salon Ugly's failed after she invested £50,000 in it. But friends insist she isn't broke and missed her mortgage payment because she accidentally gave her bank details for an old, empty bank account.

Her pal added: "There is money coming in. She just needs to get better organised."

Im inclined to say that this doesnt seem to imply a house price crash.

The silly tart just didnt get her banking details sorted.

wake up and smell the coffee.

And im inclined to say that you are right. I didnt post this to imply that there was a HPC. That would be very silly, as is your interpretation that by posting it here I implied that. It is merely a light sunday afternoon snack, preferably to be accompanied with some toasted bread and HP sauce.

Perhaps this was just abit of fun.

The title or content do not infer HPC - maybe your punch drunk, sit down , chill, smell and also drink the strong coffee.

Perhaps Miss Goody should seek revenue streams out in the growing economy of India. A chain of EA and mortgage providers perhaps - she seems eminently qualified.

Ha Ha Ha

She will soon be able to crawl back under the rock she came from

Where Jade Goody so goes a thousand other "celebs".

Celebrity reposession reposession reposession I can see it now

She will soon be the winner of "Tears in their eyes" as all the bling gets taken away.

Big brother will soon be coming to take away all her toys.

No doubt she will soon be in an edition of Hello (goodbye) with pictures of her and the kids in her new DSS flat.

The decades of overindulgence will soon be coming home to roost.

My only hope is that Carol Vorderman believed her own adverts and that she will be next.

Probably true, and typical of the idiocy of the boom years. She's someone with zero talent who must have coined in enough from the first Big Brother she was on through newspaper, magazine and book deals to live comfortably for the forseeable. But of course she's probably blown it all on bling, expecting that the money would never stop coming in.

Taking on a £2K per month mortgage, after your income "has taken a tumble" doesn`t sound like a way of securing a stable future to me.

Even if her income has fallen to say, £5k per month, is Jade`s career going to be reliable enough to keep up those payments ?

Still, house prices only go up, so if she runs into difficulty (again), she`ll be able to easily sell up and downsize (her house).
