pl1 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 http://www.dailymail...ally-there.html God this sends your eyes funny! Problem with optical illusions is we've all seen them. One candlestick or two faces? Neverending Staircase. Are there any true original ones left?
Total_Injustice Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Watch yourself, this is in fact an auto-hypnotic tool promulgated under the banner of an optical illusion. The black and white squares represent the dichotomy of the financial commentary and the actions taken to ‘fix’ the crisis. This is conditioning you to accept all that you hear as the truth, and that those in control are concerned for your prosperity. The separate and yet seemingly interlocked rings make you accept that there can never be an end to our dependency on low interest rates, and that this is the natural order of life. The 4 rings represent the certainties of life: - House prices only ever go up and we should be grateful of this law of physics. - Debt is good. - Fractional Reserve Banking is our savior. - Bankers cannot be rewarded enough for their role in supporting society.
The Masked Tulip Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I thought this was going to be about the FTSE and DOW soaring... on the lowest volumes since 1999.
Mr. Miyagi Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Doesn't work for me. I used to love the magic eye they (The Mail) had in the weekend magazine though.
winkie Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Doesn't work for me. I used to love the magic eye they (The Mail) had in the weekend magazine though. They never worked for me, I could never see the hidden pictures....some good optical illusions on here though. http://www.itechwhiz.com/2011/04/amazing-3d-optical-illusions-pictures.html

I've put up with erranta and oracle's posts for a while but that one was very good.
Total_Injustice Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I've put up with erranta and oracle's posts for a while but that one was very good. I feel very dim - you've lost me. I guess you mean people spouting crap as if they know everything.
nmarks Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 When I looked at the circles I thought I saw a pussy cat a-creeping up on me. Should've gone to Specsavers?

libspero Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 This is the best one I've seen floating around on Facebook recently: For those who haven't seen it, look at who you see. Then walk across the room and look at it from as far away as possible. Now who do you see? This one is old but good if you can make it work..

A slightly lazy eye will make it tricky to see those bad boys.
Turned Out Nice Again Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 this is a good one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6ccBwnc5KU

I'm the same with string theory and the Rubik Cube--they 'don't work for me' either!
