This is an outrageous way to treat a man of no warnings.

There's a warning point right there!

MODERATORS' DECISIONS

Whilst we try to be as open as possible in the moderation of the forums, the moderators do not have the time to enter into public debate over the rights and wrongs of every moderating decision. Any posts questioning a moderators decision, or the forum rules, will be deleted.

You have to have a highish level of posts, it might be 5k. I remember DTMark not having the option to chnage his either.

Mr Hovis, we waste too much time here! It's good isn't it?

Page 1 here we come!

Even the mighty Eric Pebble has now dropped to the second division and 'bart' is on course for div three.

Bloo Loo still bestrides the forum like a collossus on 50,000 posts.

I do go to other forums, and I'm straight too the "off topic", to post intellectual meanderings, and silliness! This place tolerates me pretty well, despite my 4 warning points! I can't top Bloo Loo!

I question the moderators for not giving me a warning point in 3 years.

Right, that should get me one?

Seriously though, do NOT like this new format. Three things:

i) I am browsing main forum and want to go to off topic. Used to be one click on the dropdown menu at bottom right. Now it is click - back to top - click - forum header - click - off topic. I WANT MY DROPDOWN BACK

ii) the report button is right next to the quote button. I have already pressed it twice by mistake!

iii) what is multi-quote/quote. Just say 'REPLY'

sheesh

I've got a warning point. Just the one. No idea why

You are a rude and offensive person, like me!

Wonder if the new board software will end the infamous database errors that have afflicted HPC for years.

I've noticed though, they have managed to squeeze three Adsense blocks in now (which I think is the limit) so should help pay for the software licencing.

I feel very much a free loader, having never clicked on an advert, most of which seem to be very contrary HPC!

Actually, the forum hasn't changed at all. I just tracked you all down and put some very very strong mushrooms in your drinking water. You worry about the forum? In about 3 hours there will be spiders

Very big and very chatty spiders. Oh yes.

I'm frightened of giant whelks, the size of a bus!

The new version seems to be a bit heavy on Javascript (or something). I'm currently reading this on quite an old desktop machine (although it's got two 3GHz cores and 3GB of memory), and if I load the first page of this thread from the front page of off-topic it takes 17 seconds until the browser says it's finished loading the page. If I turn off Javascript it takes about 2 seconds. Maybe this is just a FIrefox problem - it seems to be a lot faster in Chrome. Anyone else?

Any opportunity to trot out this story again:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/6671012/Man-with-sexual-fetish-for-slurry-jailed.html

And he has his own facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/TheDavidTruscottAppreciationSociety?ref=stream

Don't annoy him though:

Truscott was first discovered getting his sick kicks in a muck spreader at the farm near Redruth, Cornwall, in 2004.

The appalled family had to clean it to deter him – but that made Truscott so angry he set fire to a cattle pen containing a cow and newborn calves.

The cow died and he was later jailed for three years for arson and burglary.
