Nuggets Mahoney
The Dambusters? It's not really a film about air warfare and the actor, even though he was super famous, is only in one short scene at the start, setting the tone. He was very good at that sort of thing. He had the voice for it.

Nuggets Mahoney
Bugs! - thousands of 'em, sir. Gave into the google temptation. I will withdraw myself from this one If it's coming to Google, time to 'fess up and move on. Unfortunately YT doesn't feature the scene in question and only has a silent clip of the actor smoking a fag whilst preparing for the scene, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzPBAZe8bbM which isn't anywhere near as good as the actual dialogue... Pint of sludge, Ted. Oh, hello, Dave. Hey, you seen Johnny? Yes. Well, where is he? Come on, Dave. I need my boots. Johnny's borrowed them. Where is he? At the bottom... ...of the Channel. You mean... ...he's bought it? Ack-ack over Calais.
