  1. Told the muppets this on here weeks ago and they wouldn't have it, also told them that neither the infrastructure or generating capacity is here or affordable and stated that the price of electricity will be varied to ensure you are not using your tumble driver whilst the execs want to charge their Tesla's (other brands of electric car are available). The electric car future is fuel poverty on steroids.
  2. Average income has been falling for years, ask yourself why the cheap shops do well, with low sq footage, minimal lines, low staffing selling bottom end products. All the raving about ALDI/LIDL is self-justification all fur no knickers syndrome. The UK is full of people poncing around on the products of cheap credit who have little if any spare cash in their pockets. Spend a day at your local petrol station and count how many people (many driving high end german steel) who drive in every day and put a tenners worth in their tank, the cashiers think it is hillarious.
  3. Governments are humstrung, corporations are powerful, central banks are fronts for the elite financial players. Don't play ball, get your currency and economy trashed. AI is coming and will be king of the hill, from finance through to the military all sectors will be effectively controlled by fewer and fewr individuals. The destruction of the middle consientious classes will follow and the policy will be divide and conquer. Free movement is part of this and will result in the destruction of traditional political parties and their traditional power bases. Anonymous, Wikileaks and Bitcoin have achieved very little in reality and will be but a footnote in history in 10-20 years time.
  4. use "cognitive computing," in performing a number of operations in the government and private sector in order to improve operational effectiveness, local media reported Tuesday. Earlier in January, the Japanese Mitsubishi Research Institute said that the introduction of artificial intelligence machines in Japan is expected to create 5 million workplaces by 2030. However, it will replace 7.4 million people in traditional branches, leaving 2.4 million Japan citizens without jobs by 2030. https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201703281052026627-artificial-intelligence-uae-government/ Yet, governments want you all to work till your nearly ready to drop dead, pay a humungous mortgage, pay ever increasing ammounts to get a basic level of pension and ever increasing levels of tax for virtually all your life. This will all end very badly as the devil will truly make work for idle hands.
  5. Die you b@stards, oh and get you money into lifetime ISA so we can get our hands on it for your private sector care and bump up receipts from death bed taxes. Best regards, The People Farmers
  6. Smartphones, business rates, staff costs, big players and laziness of punters are killing High St.Bookies.
  7. Looks like estate agents are deregistering for VAT and keeping their turnover under 100K by being one man bands to compete with their on-line enemy. Example:- http://www.rightmove.co.uk/estate-agents/agent/Listons-Estates/Warrington-Cheshire-13649.html £595 on completion with No VAT
  8. I was talking about warehouse and factory operatives, you obviously move in elevated circles.
  9. AI can speak english all by itself, doesn't need a foreigner to do it for it. Plus AI can/will be able to converse in any language it can squeeze money out of. AI is the enemy of plebs everywhere, get the pitchforks out before its too late.
  10. The EU plundered the UK when it was at its weakest (manufacturing) in the 1980s and 90s, typically state industries (France) and private (German) bought up whole sectors both recently privatised or part of asset stripping criminal Lord Weinstocks empire and shut them down to eliminate competition. What we have left is housing as an industry and entertainment services, just driven out of Manchester and the building activity is unbelievable, its almost like the gold-rush has happened yet most folks only have copper and silver in their pockets.
  11. Cos the vast majority are at the bottom of the food chain in jobs that don't require 2 degrees yet can earn as much as somebody with 2 degrees in Polska. Is all relative to the circles you move is as I'm sure Esskay can explain.
  12. Saudis always remind me of Mickey Carroll. in the form of former goat herders get lucky, blow the lot on Mansions, Cars, Coke and lots of bling and end up back as goat herders when than can't sustain the excess. Cheers boys.
  13. Some politicians are only cut out for jumping up and down in opposition and to most folks it blatantly obvious even before they get their hands on power. Once they get into power it can very quickly become farcical. Ms Sturgeon has entered that territory, whilst Jezzer is still in the relative safety of opposition.
  14. Tesla (Nikola the original one) not the company who stole his name had a nice quote about technology, "there is a difference between progress and technology, progress benefits mankind. Technology does not necessarily do that.” AI is being sold as progress and about 5% of it probably is, in reality it is technology predominantly to enrich the real elite and maintain control over increasingly unproductive members of society that make up the vast majority. Trouble with the plebs is that they are easily bought by novelty technology, the 'technology circus' while the bread is being stolen from behind their backs.
  15. If the Scots have another referendum the SNP may find that the result is the same or worse (on their part) than before, I imagine a lot of Scots are getting quite irritated by Ms Sturgeons political ego trip. As for the other issue I can see a scenario where if re-run the result would be even more in favour of exiting the EU due to two principle factors 1) shear stubborness and 2) the fact that Europe is continuing to deteriorate to the loss of border control.
  16. Touchy feely lefty squeezy Brexit, no chance, so lets just get on with it.
  17. Looks more like a Victorian gents toilet with attendants room at the end, anyone got an old Victorian O.S. Map of the area.
  18. Don't know about Manchester dying but a lot of the indigenous folk appear to be turning into Zombies and are migrating to other towns via the bus network. http://metro.co.uk/2017/03/11/shocking-images-show-people-turning-into-zombies-after-taking-drug-spice-6502676/
  19. Seems inherently pointless if the AI can do all that, and if it is true AI then taking out a whopping loan for a university education is pointless as well. Don't think many people would fancy being fast charged with information (an education!) by a frikin robot.
  20. They work more efficiently as well over in sun drenched african climbs but would probably get robbed or sold for scrap.
  21. Poor little Poland realises that as a client state of the EU they have do do as they are told and vote appropriately if they want the money. Polish PM Beata Szydlo has accused the French president of trying to blackmail her country, in a row over Thursday's re-election of EU leader Donald Tusk. At the end of an EU summit, she said it was unacceptable for Francois Hollande to threaten to stop funds because Poland was "not behaving properly". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39232136
  22. That is an ancient story from 2014 and a tiddler at 46MW. This ones newer and built on land prone to flooding that Barratt were once interested in. Installed capacity 72MW. http://www.power-technology.com/news/newsforesight-solar-fund-acquires-72mw-shotwick-solar-park-5732609
  23. I'm beginning to think that Noel Coward was psychic, D-Ream were deluded and Bliar was exactly that.
  24. Being self-employed is quite often the quickest way to get a decent job especially if you are skilled. British companies are useless at recruiting for staff roles and many people cannot wait 3 months to complete the process. The biggest advantage of being self employed for me is the knowledge that I can up sticks and leave in a week if they piss me off rather than serving 3 months notice, this means that if you are good at what you do you get left alone. The other big plus is No ISO9001 ******** staff appraisal proceedures. The downside is the ******** and harrasment of running your affairs correctly and having a coherent plan for the future. Bear in mind that most non-govermental organisations couldn't give a stuff about your financial future which is why most company pension schemes are inadequately funded.
