you may have noticed we had snow over the weekend.

The snow didn't stop me doing anything.

However, I suspect we will see a few headlines in the next couple of weeks along the lines of:

Double dip recession due to snow.

**** goes bust due to snow

**** profits fall due to the snow

Estate agents see drop in sales due to the snow

Hardly, the ridiculous ramping of a snow armageddon, cleared a lot of supermarket shelves. Suspect the Met Office pension pots are invested in Tesco's etc..

Southampton had no snow,

not one snow flake over the weekend.

but they will blame the fact the Olympics were not as sucessful as billed due to the "freak" snow storms, that were not predicted or "priced in"

A couple of weeks ago on the TV and in the papers it was something like "Arctic weather for 4 weeks".

Oooooh it was so "The Day After Tomorrow". Stock up stock up

Last week it was "Arctic weather for 1 week".

So it turns out that so far the UK has had a very light dusting of snow for 2 or 3 days
