  1. Reminds me of a different conflict in Labour. Excellent doc series btw:
  2. Didn't the report actually state that Corbyn was legally free to comment?
  3. Who sat on the cases? Why was Ian McNichol given a peerage? 🙃
  4. Ofcom were told to ban a documentary by persons that claimed it was racist. The Documentary showed a foreign country's citizen planning with Labour officials and staff and affiliates to target a particular Labour MP by a number of different strategies. This Documentary was cleared for release and shown on an admittedly authoritarian backed news station in the UK. The content of that Documentary was rarely commented upon in the mainstream media with much fervor. It is available here. You are free to make up your own mind. There is second series looking at America. Peter Oborne is very good. Also, for the record, I am against all forms of political corruption including lobbying and interference from any foreign countries in such a manner.
  5. Careful, you're close to breaching approved IHRA definitions.
  6. You can have literally any group of people and have a dedicated extremist wing within people that identify with any group. What you are seeing is one group of people have their extremists act out when critiqued. If you genuinely believe Jeremy Corbyn is anti-semitic and that those that have highlighted these issues are completely oblivious to any political or social reasons involved then I cannot say anything more for fear of facing any of the same wrath. For insurance and clarity: Indeed any communication ever produced on the internet by anything associated to me is ever in jest and a distinct avatar of a persona created.
  7. He should be ashamed and keep his mouth shut. Stick to football. There's a good lad.
  8. I can confirm having seen and actively looking for a 2 bed flat or house between NW London and NE London, the market has gone insane. For the past 2 weeks there have been an unseasonal glut of properties on the market and going but here is my 2 pence worth observation: For a combination of reasons, everything from ppl moving from zones 1-2 to 3-4 for bigger places and Landlords shitting it to prevent voids as they're employment and those of the tenants become jeopardized Takes the budget of 1500. You can get a 2 bed flat but whats this, here's a 2 bed house that is bigger for 1550 or 1600. What's this? 1 street and 2 listings for essentially the same type of house. One at 1600 but another at 1450 that is bigger? Etc etc The market cannot find a standard esque price for many areas and this is throwing up mad anomalies depending on the type of landlord. E.G - The amount of reductions I have seen has increased this past week for say 2-3 bed houses. Places that would normally gor for 1750 are finding 1600 and places at 1400 are finding 1200 or 1250. Truly interesting times. I await the spring when my contract is due for renewal to see what delights are in store. Massive range of disparity for similiar houses and flats. Squeaky bum time has ensued. ,
  9. this but also the rest. Humour and debate. Brexit Thread is hectic but can be very good.
  10. Can you give us a recipe for successful relationships?
  11. The only issue with grand conspiracies is that as anyone that has ever actually spoken with, gone to uni with and gone to school with the movers and shakers in the echelons of power is this: The elites are incredibly divided. They share aims but they do argue as much as people here do. All the fookin time. If you look at just who funds and for whom the Tory party lobbies on behalf of, they are not all the same people politically. They just believe that their politicians will do what they want. COVID is a classic example of this. It is dangerous, it is serious and it is affecting the economy and is being used by many people in power to do horrendous things (Just look at recent legislation) So if you actually look at the politics of the matter, politicians rely on public sentiment and electability management vs their own vested interests vs their paymasters interests. Take the economic lockdown due to COVID. Some of the biggest business people hate it. It's decimated massive industries both local and global. So who are the grand reset architects vs the owners of wealth in this country that are losing much money and power through this?
  12. You are a brave man. Probably worth going now that no-one else is.
  13. Don't be silly. Don't you know you can never lose. NEVER LOSE. when you buy in London. You can never lose by investing with leverage on property residentially. NEVER. I'm actually gonna head to the bank right now to snap some of these bargains up. 1 bedder flats split from the barely large enough 3 bed terraces. Quids in. People have to live somewhere innit? And plus the council and government will cover benefits for me tenants. SORTED! Buy Now. or regret it. This COVID nonsense will be over soon and I'll be cashing in me mad GAINZ. Do you even leverage bro?
  14. Don't get me started on that gravy-fuk up Railtrack, Network Rail, Franchising - And yes the EU dived in with legislation too to "open" markets
