  1. Zorn (am not having a pop) but do you really believe all the figures that you read? Because i certainly do not. All i know is that here in the north west/particulary the oldham area unless you are employed in some nonsense public sector job the wages in general are crap, i appreciate my comment is a generalisation but i only speak from personal experience. Even skilled people up here get paid crap wages and have to do 10 hours o/t to get their wages up to 20k, while some fat arsed "manager type" creams of 25k for sitting on his ar5e for 35 hours a week.
  2. Nice to see someone in the "meeja" without a vested intrest in high hp's. Excellent article there are so many of them now aren't there, i think the wheels are starting to come off bliar and browns spin machine!
  3. Most people in the north west region earn no more than 12-15k for an 40 hour week, i don't know where this "average" 25k wage figure comes from.
  4. Cheers consa/guys! just need a good talking to when there is not much hpc news in the mainstream media. It can be so difficult standing firm against the powers of the dark side, i mean i can't even talk about a hpc to my friends now as they are all oo's and just refuse to see through all the vi bullsh1t so i don't bother offering any opinion nowadays, except on this forum of course! I agree that i can't see sentiment turning back but that is all we have until ir's go up/taxes go up/redundancy become more and more the norm on the news. Am just looking forward to the yoy figures and for hpi to be negative.......THEN THE FUN WILL START.
  5. The real fear i have is of sentiment turning again, it turned negative pretty sharpish last year on the back of the ir rises and i fear that average joe is so easily suckered in by the black magic conjoured up by the master of the dark arts Beelzebrown, that if people feel ir's have peaked they may just throw in the towel and sign the next 25 years away on the proverbial shoe box.
  6. What about the ones that are sold stc but are still to view, i think a desperate seller has taken a low offer just to be rid of the place (always seems to be the vacant possesion houses)but is desperate to see if another sucker will come in and bid a bit more. Sounds like a form of gazumping to me. **** the seller when i start to view again i will gazunder for fun. Greedy T0553r5.
  7. Personally i could not bear to continue watching after 5 mins i had to turn it off as watching that vi lump of lard and her jibbering, sycophantic gimp put me right off my tea! Typical programme from the modern day Stan and Ollie with Mr and Mrs "average" who have sold their 2 bed flat for 500k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and want to spend the dosh on a"flash city crash pad??????????" and a rural retreat. No wonder the nation is in such a mess with cretinous drivel like this being aired from morn till night. UTTER 80LL0CKS!
  8. Where is all the hpc news at the moment? I am assuming that all talk of an imminent crash is being swept under the carpet because of this bloody election, btw i remain convinced that if it was not election year ir's would have easily topped 5% by now and the crash would be in full swing. Also nu labs election guru Alan (I LOVE TONY) Milburn was on itv lunch time news yesterday and they wanted viewers to e mail him questions, naturally i sent mine enquiring about labours failure to keep a lid on hpi and why there are not more tax constraints on the btl gimps who have helped make a bad situation worse, of course the question never got asked as there was far more telling questions to be asked:eg Why did you return to front line polotics mr milburn? Where your family sick of you at home? Incisive questionong from itv/joe public there then, getting straight to the point and wanting answers to the Real issues facing society today! I am becoming more and more convinced that for most oo's that ignorance is bliss concerning the prospects of a future financial meltdown. Last year when hpi was at it's peak how much cash someone had made on their house was the main topic of conversation, mention hp falls today and people scamper away in a desperate attempt to find cover, they simply cannot contemplate losing their paper profits. I am beginning to feel that people think the worst of it is over concerning rising ir's as people just don't see the big picture or take a long term view. With closed mindsets like this how will people ever start contemplating dropping the price of their house unless ir's start to rise in the near future. Bring on a rate rise in May!
  9. Pricesh1te=negativethoughtpower=propery gimp. I can spot his posts a mile off by now.
  10. NE moderate bear= Bored, soon to be unemployed estate agent. GO GET A PROPER JOB!
  11. Right am signing up for a french language course next week! If things don't happen in the uk in the next 12 months i'm off!
  12. I have done my bit, i encourage more hpc members to add their views to this essential site.
  13. Come the recession it will be easy for uk workers to compete with the indian wallah. The average uk hourly rate will be the same 50p per hour!!! No need to outsource then.
  14. I posted, the only problem with the lbl site was that there were very few posters and therefore not enough new hpc info and i need new crash info like a crack'ead needs his fix!!!
  15. Seems ok to me. I am just glad to be back on the hpc forum again though.
  16. Just added my complaint to the bbc, methinks they will have to do some overtime in the complaints department to reply to that lot.
  17. I must confess without the backup and commensense of MOST of the posters on this site i would probably have given up and bought again by now. The level of ignorance is truly astounding. Really depressed tonight!
  18. At the moment I HATE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am so angry i can barely type! Disgusting drivel by auntie..........The ea's best friend.
  19. Spend 100k, have a lifetime of exhorbitant repayments, just don't be too picky about what you buy!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!
  20. I was particulary disgusted at the bony vi's assertion to a young couple that a 2 bed shoe box on at 92k would "double in price in the next few years"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am absolutley disgusted with the bbc.
  21. Bankrupcies with intrest rates at 5%?? Kind of sums up just how crackers the economy has become!
  22. The guy isn't even offering any kind of decent argument, he is simply trashing the board with his inane nervous ftb mantra. Lets get rid of the tw@t!
  23. OOPS! I forgot it is now michael grade. Turnip i don't intend to get in a slanging match.
  24. Stay tulip i also like/agree with most of your posts. Ignore the aptly named turnip, i just skip his posts as mostly they are just drivel. STAND AND FIGHT.
  25. It is simple really the director of the bbc, greg dyke is simply a robot controlled by the real director general doctor evil aka tony bliar in his true form. I predict if nu lab lose the next election dyke will be unmasked as an automaton and will promptly self destruct at the mere mention af biased vi reporting and the bbc newsroom will be devasted by a rampaging, bare chested natasha kaplinsky firing 5mm rounds from each nipple at any one who mentions a hpc or anything else derogatory about nu lab!!!
