Who else?

While I don't think the U.K government going bankrupt and needing a bailout from the IMF is the end of our society it sure is getting pretty worrying.

I think it is about time the BBC discussed this on their main broadcast.

I also notice that some local authorities/councils are making staff redundant - again no mention on BBC News. This is happening when the government are supposed to be helping people find/keep jobs (not that I care for most public sector 'non-job' workers). Where are Labour going to get their votes from now?

Peston was not on the news tonight and his blog hasnt been updated, is he now being held in the tower of London!!

Peston seems to post some sense, how come I've never heard of him before and I watch BBC news daily? How come his views and the stats he reels off is not on the BBC 1 coverage?

What's his views on UK bankruptcy - I couldn't dig anything up and its late and I can't be bothered looking myself. Anyone know already?

I will disagree with you, you haven't seen nothing yet

They are hardly likely to come clean

If the sheeple relly knew what mess this country is in and what is likely to happen, all hell would break loose

I suppose they will just try to drip feed the bad news

I think long term we are on that track if something doesn't change, but in the short term I'm not 100% sure. Although an IMF bailout does not seem that unlikely when you look at the figures.

On BBC News 24 yesterday the Japanese Prime Minister was described by the anchorman as "weak" and went on to discuss the Japanese political and economic scene with a BBC reporter in a way they would never do for the UK. They seem willing to discredit other PM's and their policies provided its not the one that pays their wages.

It's a bit like when you cut yourself sometimes, you don't always feel the pain until you see the blood.

Yes, the adrenaline and endorphins of euphoria is still in the system.
