I might stay at work and do some overtime.

CharlieChuck
Have there been any house price crash related storylines in the soaps yet? It can't be long now... Not yet, but I think Coronation street may be building up to one. The Websters and a different family (ashley's) are doing a house swap with the websters paying the difference in cost, it may be crash related or not. p.s. I don't watch soaps they're just always on. Mr Yogi
Have there been any house price crash related storylines in the soaps yet? It can't be long now... I though that one was developing in Coronation St with the mad Peacock woman, but it seems that sense has prevailed and Ashley and Kevin have sorted things out. There's still time for a plot twist, however! How sad am I?
Bosh
Oh dear, Mrs Charliechuck will not be happy tonight if emmerdale's been sidelined for a credit crunch programme. I might stay at work and do some overtime. I would imagine a change to the schedule is more to do with the Football. I would see that they view that a warning on the credit crunch is more important than a soap but both are less important than a football match that has nothing to do with any of the home countries
Eddie_George
Have there been any house price crash related storylines in the soaps yet? It can't be long now... I don't know for sure but I have a sneaking suspicion that one might be coming up in Hollyoaks. Neville Ashworth has just bought a BTL, might be trouble ahead. ronpember
BUMP !!!!! I'll bump too - but read this link from the Telegraph as a teaser for while you wait. Journalist guy bought a house off his mate for £200k and did it up - sold recently and after all the costs and hassle and generally tough times he made £6k profit - when he factored in his loss of earnings from his regular job he was in the same condition as the house at the time he bought it - gutted! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/property/main.j...7/pslump117.xml
