Red Baron Posted June 7, 2008 Share Posted June 7, 2008 (edited) Posters here will be aware of Wikipedia which is remarkable factual resource and one which allows free editing from any interested person to keep entries relevant and updated. Kirstie Allsop has an entry, clearly placed on Wikipedia by one of her sycophants, and I have repeatedly added the following edit to her entry as follows: Location, Location, Location has been fiercely criticised by many for ramping property prices, most recently by BBC Panorama (June 2nd 2008) which identified it as one of the property programess which has contributed to the current property bubble. In every case it has been swiftly removed by the sycophantic moderator, followed up with a warning that the edit is defamatory. Clearly it is not - it is a simple statement of fact. Such removal is also against the Wikipedia philosophy which permits the addition of any edit which adds factual information of relevance to the entry. Well guys - you know what to do don't you? Source of the criticism is principally HPC and the other forum, so I would not wish to draw fire. Can you suggest how it might be worded? Not that I can edit Wikipedia any more......... That's always been my experience of editing wikipaedia entries. The moderators are the worst kind of netknuts you'll ever find. And believe me I've dealt with a lot of netknuts in my time.
