Assad claims it was all faked.

Trump makes allegations repeatedly about fake news.

Whilst this thread is not specifically about Syria, who should one believe in a world full of fake news. The world seems awash with it and you have no idea what the truth is! Although is that the aim to keep everyone divided. Its as if the conspiracy nut jobs are now running the news channels.

well i think russian intelligence source conclusion is probably right.

they're saying that it wasn't actually a direct chemical attack by anybody, but the chemical weapons went off when the suspected arms depot was bombed.I think we're likely to see more of these, and maybe one that REALLY goes BOOM.

question is, weren't all of these things supposed to be handed in back in 2011 when russia/UN go assad to hand over his stockpile?  they aren't supposed to be there now are they?.....did assad not declare everything???

The story a few days ago about the couple who discovered they were biological twins during IVF treatment was a fake news story from a fake online paper repeating the same story from another fake online paper from a year ago.

That didn't stop the Daily MailMetro, the Mirror, and the Evening Standard  publishing the story without doing even the most basic checks to verify it or it's source.

The Mirror now says ''Evidence suggests the 'Mississippi Herald' is not a legitimate news outlet'.

I'd say the episode proves that the Daily Mail, Metro, Mirror and Evening Standard are not a legitimate news outlets.

It's not 'problem, reaction, solution ' any longer. That disappeared with 9/11. The reaction to supposed wmd's in Iraq was a march against war. Just ignored. So now you're left with 'problem, solution'. The only reaction you'll see reported is from useful idiot politicians whose only talent appears to be be how much faeces they can swallow.

pretty soon it will just be solution.

If the problem is just invented and made up (and without a credible and transparent investigation it seemingly is all just invented and made up) then it already is just solution - aka might is right.

I believe part of the outcry about 'fake news' is because news sources don't want their click-bait currency devalued. If people start assuming all online news is fake, they won't bother clicking on things and advertising revenue will go down, or, people will gravitate to the websites that have the most ridiculous fake news stories, taking revenue away from less mercenary sites.

Of course, a lot of it is because governments and media want to control what we believe. The cry of 'fake news!' is similar to 'counter revolutionary!' in Stalin's Russia.

I realised the BBC were peddling fake news in 2015 because they kept banging on about poor refugees, think of the children etc but even with their best efforts they couldn't muster footage of more than a tiny handful of women and children among huge groups of men, which meant it was highly likely there was something else going on that they were trying to hide.

remember the dead girl in the Nice truck-of-peace attack?
most likely not because that wasn't shown (blanket over the top)

Most likely because capitalist globalists want to flood Europe with immigrants from north Africa and the near east to keep labour prices cheap, boost tax income and provide more consumers. They are in an unholy alliance with marxists who want to dilute or even destroy western Christian civilization, and their 'useful idiots', the soft-hearted centre-leftists (BBC, Lily Allen etc) who think we can somehow solve the problems of the world's trouble spots by wholesale importation of their populations.

The globalists don't care about any consequences because they live in a supra-national bubble and their wealth insulates them from any consequent problems.

Add to this the machinations of Islamists (probably  mostly Saudis) who want to further the spread of global Islam.

Or the dismembered 10 y.o.girl in the truck attack in Sweden a few short weeks ago. It didn't fit the MSM narrative, so got very little coverage.

Meanwhile, on YouTube a guest speaker on Sargon's channel, an experienced and award winning new media journalist, explains why fake stories get mindlessly repeated by the MSM.
