3) Golf

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained records from the U.S. Department of the Air Force revealing that Barack Obama and family had a busy 2015 vacationing on the American taxpayers’ dime. The unnecessary travel included an Obama Palm Springs golf trip in June, a trip to New York City in July and a family trip to Martha’s Vineyard in August – all of which cost taxpayers $3,115,688.70 in travel expenses alone.

I get the impression Obama couldnt care less about foreign policy, he's left most of it to Hillary (oh dear)

He's had two main aims as president

1) Health Reform

2) Gun laws

Both of which he's failed miserably on.

And Guantanamo. He was promising to close it before he even came to office.

Totally inept. Total failure. Abject cretin of the highest order.

Yup. I can understand due to their system of only one arm of govt being able to initiate laws, and another only having the ability to pass them, Obama's timeframe for 'HOPE' and 'CHANGE' TM was thus limited. Nonetheless the Democrats did control all 3 arms of government for 2 years between 2008-2010. If Obama was worth his salt he would have achieved his hopey changy stuff then. Reagan managed to achieve most his stuff without the GOP controlling the house.

He's the Commander in Chief. If Guantanamo is a military installation he could just have issued a direct order to his Chief of Staff to shut it down. At once.

He said Britain and France let Libya descend into anarchy because they have a short attention span.

This would be the U.S. government that at regular intervals has dragged compliant British administrations into successive unwinnable conflicts that have cost the UK taxpayer billions and taken the lives of hundreds of British military personnel. An effort by the way for which we get no thanks but just constant sniping about how useless we are. To be honest the reluctance of Parliament to get involved any further such ventures is understandable particularly as apart from the French the rest of Europe including the Germans singularly refuse to make more than token commitments.

BTW Anyone who thinks we stepped back too quickly from Libya would do well to read the thread on ARRSE about what 'ongoing commitment' meant in Afghanistan
