  1. something isn't right with the average prices in my area - check this up: http://www.findaproperty.com/areadetails.a...amp;areaid=1275 and http://www.findaproperty.com/searchresults...amp;bedrooms=03 and http://www.findaproperty.com/searchresults...amp;bedrooms=04 if there is one property listed sure the average asking price should be the price of the property.
  2. what I ment is that a person who will sell me a house will get the money enough to pay for their kids and my will be left uneducated.
  3. 75000 it's not only savings - it's also a private school education for a child or a uni fees for a student. so don't be so selfish think about kids. so why I should pay for not my child's education?
  4. received a latter from barclaycard: ... bla.. bla.. bla.. we have decided to reduce your credit limit to ("I don't believe it" ) £260. bla.. bla..bla. it was £7800. so I closed the account - i kept the card for emergency, but 260 will not save me.
  5. "Unless the government builds more affordable housing, and raises the stamp duty threshold, many households will continue to struggle to access the housing market," he said. what do they mean "affordable housing"? is it this type of affordable housing? because those shoe boxes they build are not affordable. it's sounds like current houses will never drop their price, but new "affordable" houses will be arrr..... well.... affordable.
  6. also there is a quality of code involved. I'm pissed off when I see indian origen code.
  7. i've heard on radio today - twice in the mornng and on the way home. but just a few words. not sure what about.
  8. National Insurance numbers are issued to every worker including temps. so it's a very positive stats 9000 workers pay tax and NI and only 300 may have it back in a way of social benefits
  9. yes - jump in .... quick. because untill it get's it's critical mass it will not bust. and I will be left out alone. so when it bust I'll be the ONE.
  10. if you are in the late 20 - middle 30 then you are very naïve. A bit about myself: I’m nearly 40 and my next house will be the 4th I’ll buy(i moved a lot around the globe). In the mean time I rent. I’m as you would say a good earner - around sixty grand a year. You can say that I can afford an average three-four bedroom house but, excuse me, I do expect something much better then average for not average earnings. At the moment I can get 180-200 thou mortgage and pay it for the next 20 years. But I refuse. I’ll wait another year(top) and I’ll buy a 4 -5 bed for half the price and pay it of in a couple of years and maybe they will give another one free . I’d like to see what you will say in 24 month.
  11. surely it's risky - parents probably don't have parent's to pay for there mortgage
  12. you know sometimes you sound reasonable but not today. everybody has to pay the counsil tax brits and immigrans. so logic is broken.
  13. It's all correct but.... It's a peak of CHEAP oil. when the price wll become high enough, the other types of oil will be excavated. so it's not too bad for rich western economy. Bitumen is the heaviest, thickest form of PETROLEUM. The 2 largest-known sources of bitumen (in Alberta and Venezuela) each contain more petroleum than the entire proven conventional oil reserves of the Persian Gulf. Synthetic crude oil produced from bitumen accounts for about 28% of Canada's total oil production.
  14. Ok i understand that. But you don't understand that it would matter to me - I don't want to buy a showbox, but a house I deserve with a normal price.
  15. they became very bearish - 1/3 or 33% (I think it's a very high number) of people expect prices not to rise in the future
  16. 27 hours or so a week is the national average working hours.
  17. Good!!!! this is exactly when & why the crash will happend. people changing their view on the housing....
  18. if count 40*52 it will be £2080 a year. so tell me - why on earth you do like an opportunity to give away £2080 after tax a year for 25 years? or £52000 in total. which is atwo years of full tume slavery for the average worker in this country.
  19. today i had to popup at work and when i was driving there i realsed that most of "for sale" & "sstc" boards dissapeared in my area??? any thoughts?
  20. What's really piss me off is that you usually forget about emmigration and what it is doing to this counry and to the others . It looks like it's OK to move somewhere, but it's unxceptable when others come into the country. don't forget thous who moved out they have taken money but not property. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3770071.stm Regards.
