  1. Uh? spelling, you are sadly deluded dear girl - - I was quoting you! "27 immigrant female - very good looking one too married Waiting for the HPC so I can buy up all your houses and rent them out to all those Polese that are only planning to came over " ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'enough' is spelt like this, not "enought" and it's 'come' over, not "came" . You don't need the word "only" in that sentence either. Are we a happy little pixie now Tia? (Tip - Don't confront what you don't understand - An Englishman knows his first language!)
  2. ...with one flex of his muscles Gordon Banner will change into the Incredible Gordon after his magic election! ummm.
  3. Serpico - That is the most compelling & interesting story I've read for a few years. I think I speak for everyone when I say it is a real shame you don't post much anymore. Your story was over 6000 words! Please consider posting more because it is such a breath of fresh air, reading stories with such a wealth of life experience and passion. Thank you for spending so much time and effort enlightening us!
  4. Not good, but i hear abbey are doing 125% mortgages
  5. "a/Buyers Take Advantage of Fall But it wasn't just prices that were down in August;: the number of new instructions also showed a considerable decline of six per cent over the month. But while much of this can be chalked up to a reluctance to enter the market while conditions are looking volatile, team agents noted a particular decline in the HIPs-affected four bedrooms or more properties on the market. b/Nevertheless, buyers were still taking the plunge, as reflected in a 2.4 per cent monthly increase in the number of properties sold. However, this was still a substantial 17.9 per cent lower than the level of property sales in August 2006." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a/ what a joke a grand or so off a 230k property b/ buyers still taking the plunge - hilarious how right they are - a plunge into the obeyss! they deserve everything that's coming to them
  6. Gotta say mate you're havin' a laugh aren't you? ... you're the one livin in a dream world. They'll be falls of 50% before all this just blows over!! Maybe 4 years from now, but it will happen.
  7. ...actually it should probably be "Ohhh foookin noo"
  8. shouldn't it be "ahh hee the noo" though?
  9. Because 70% of the population believes what they are told by our right honourable friends
  10. Yet another laughable write up of toss. To quote dear old Mr.Darling at the Party Conference, "We are here to serve the many not the few". and the most relevant one to this thread title, "It's only a threat if you let it become one." This my friends is what we're up against, total nonsense. 'Cloud Cuckoo Land' if you like.
  11. "And the lenders themselves do say 'no' if they don't think it's right. They don't want to have to repossess in a year's time, it's not good business, it doesn't look good for them," Mr O'Donovan concluded If that's the best conclusion this chap can come up with, he is sadly deluded and I would be surprised if he still has a job in twelve months time. It's nothing else but laughable.
  12. "When a property is empty awaiting tenants or a sale I'd be very surprised if council tax would still be paid" Council tax has to be paid, empty or not. 75% of normal rate.
  13. BTW your polese friends will all be buggering off soon to pastures new, but please buy as many BTL's as you can find. Do you work in the low sector getting a fiver an hour too - camping on the green at Hyde Park?
  14. Brown "I won't let you down" Do you mean house prices Mr.Brown?
  15. "Inflation? - 50% Certain. Not guaranteed" 100% guaranteed.
  16. "I wish that had been published by a paper other than the Mail - I consider it to have low credibility even by tabloid standards..." Whilst this is in fact true, the vast population of sub-prime intelligent people lap it up believing it is 100% factual. "Baaa" went the sheep as they walked in to the abortoir. Mr.Brown stood and congratulated himself.
  17. Anyone with any sense knows full well a 'Degree' today is effectively worthless, compared to pre - 1990. Which is actually horrendous for the true acadamics out there, Oxford & Cambridge of course will still have a high standing. But for the likes of 'The University of East London' etc, these certainly aren't worth the paper they are written on.
  18. Perhaps NR should be taken on as a public company like the Post Office!
  19. "I'd rather go on the game than borrow from them" You'd better hide your gun first! The press again highlighting that because this guy has cancer, which is rightly a shame, he shouldn't be pursued over outstanding debt. Unfortunately it may appear a sob story for some but when you borrow, whoever and whatever your condition the banks will try and recover the debt however they can.
