Heading South
Russia tries to defend its currency by raising interest rates to 12%..... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/finance...is-deepens.html Meantime on another planet, the Governor of the BoE talks about the possiblity of zero interest rates in the UK. Is there no point in Sterlings collapse when interest rates are raised to save the Pound? And as for savers, perhaps coordinated action (eg mass withdrawals) might stop this madness. A combination of over work and diabetes muddled my mind. Now everything is a nice clear grey fog of despair. _w_
I'm in the same boat with Thai Baht.I really don't know what to do. I've transferred some at 55.5 last week, enough to see us through next year. The rest I'm leaving in Sterling for now. You could try and diversify a bit.
