Steppenpig
Who do you think would actually translate as good people into real life? That you would actually like to have as your parents, kids, partners, siblings, friends, colleagues whatever. Try and really imagine them in your life, not you living in a film fantasy. Kids: Ellen Paige in Juno, or Natalie Portman in Beautiful Girls. Allthough I'd be really worried that they grow up to be ordinary. I'm also worried I may be a bit pervy. Parents: Juno's parents". They're portayed as embarrassingly ordinary hicksville blue-collar types, the last thing any self respecting teenager would want, but it's obvious all along that their really cool in an ordinary way. MrPin
I'd like Dr Hannibal Lecter to be my dad, Lt Ripley to be my mum, and Tank Girl to be my partner. For my imaginary brother I would have the Cable Guy.
thombleached
I'd like han solo as my uncle. Does that count?

MrPin
Children are harder to choose. For a daughter, I'd like that quiet girl that doesn't like daylight from "Let Me In". For a son I'd have that nut hunting squirrel form "Ice Age!

MrPin
I'd quite like Bennett from Commando as an uncle I was sure I had that film, but it appears not. Isn't Hit-Girl a bit of a potty mouth?

StainlessSteelCat
Hit-Girl for the daughter, easy Yes this How about the kid from Leon? and this. Page in Hard Candy is also excellent. Ripley as the missus would be good as would the Ragnar's wife off Vikings (in fact, my missus is rather like her - in attitude at least). Han Solo as dad or uncle would be great. Doctor Who as my grandad. Definitely not - anyone who played a princess or Nicole Kidman.
