Tired of Waiting
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/west-sussex-county-council-to-axe-up-to-1300-jobs-2211952.html So ultimately from the headline figure only 400 jobs to go. If many or most of these jobs are in Chichester, a small town, then its property market will be affected - both rents and HPrices.
tinker
The Conservative-led authority also said a further 800 jobs may be transferred to employment with other service providers. Of course, all those providers like Serco et al, will all be on the taxpayers teat. Smoke and mirrors. A little bit of shuffling paper. Not nice for those affected but, inevitable with the debt fuelled, never-never economy we had over the previous decade. Unaffordable and unsustainable over the long term.
