jonboy
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/poll/06-0...to-house-prices Or, A huge 76 percent majority think houseprices will reduce further or not change for the remainder of 2009. Only 24 percent of people think houseprices will rise this year. I prefer those headlines, though i'm sure language doesn't affect sentiment. juvenal
I often do it. Its like trudging miles to the polling station on Election Day; hanging around outside for a bit, then trudging home. It makes you feel somehow.... involved..

Caveat Mortgagor
A surprising number think there will be an increase of some kind. Are they:- 1. Estate Agents 2. MEWs who need to pay of their credit cards 3. BTLs voting on any poll available cos every little helps as far as the recovery is concerned 4. Former couples who bought at peak buyers but need to wait for the upturn so they can sell and finally leave their ex's Edited April 9, 2009 by Nick Dastardly

cashinmattress
Martin 'Jim Jones' Lewis does have some good ideas for getting refunds and bargains on consumer items, but taking market advice from his site is akin to the chickens asking the fox where the henhous is...
