Some silly cow on BBC 24 saying LL will not reduce rents, talking like LL are supplying some sort of service and doing us a favour. We all know that a lot of the housing benefit the LL get is alot greater than they would get from the private renter. Lets see how well their business plan works out over the coming year.

This sort of job should pay no more than £80k I reckon. Until these people are brought down to earth and the banksters are made to pay I simply cannot argue with people who disagree with spending cuts as this is their ace up the sleeve to which cannot be beaten.

In my experience the fixtures and fittings on these dun up places are chrome covered plastic or light fitting that go rusty after a few years.

And I'm sure they would have taken even more of the market share with Allied carpets getting in trouble again a few years back. Still think of all the horrid cheap laminate flooring that has to be changed to lovely carpet from all the repo BTL properties coming to the market soon.

I have no experience of auctions but I reckon it would be a good idea if the auction house or seller did a full survey which you could view, even for a couple of quid.

I reported 3 crimes in 6 months at my last address, all car related. The neighbours where very sympathetic and agreed with me reporting them, it will be interesting to see if they'd still support this. Especially those with a house for sale.

It may stop home owners from reporting crimes so as not to damage their house price. Ego is the biggest problem with these people.

Far too many to list The last 10 years have been in IT but the jobs market is crap and my last job pushed me close to the edge of sanity. It seems you cant just do a job these days, the company needs to own you. My initial point was that some people can not get a job working for nothing.

It was something I thought of doing but the course would not give me enought knowledge to do the job. Yeah I could blag it and take it slow but I'm looking at all options at the mo.

I thought of spending a few grand on an electricans course. It gives you all the theory and the right to sign off work but with no experience I would not be able to work alone. Had a look on a forum and there where dozens of posts by people begging for some work experience and would work for nothing. No one was taking them up on the offer.

Thats the trouble with ordinary people living in a £200,000 house (more like £400,000 where I live). Scammers, including government and bankers, will want some or all of it and these ordinary people can not deal with it. Its too much money for most people.

We are not all STRers here (nothing wrong this that though), some have saved for years, gone without, been prudent and worked towards a responsible future. I don't have sour grapes because my hard work is being stolen, I'm getting fecking angry.

We should demand their heads on a pike. We have paid these gits large amounts of money to manage our affairs and they have utterly failed. I want justice. Are they trying to tip us over the edge, is this the next stage of their plan. Its the only thing that makes sense because I can not believe these people can be so utterly useless.

I was on my motorbike going down a residental road just left of center following a car. I think I switched off for a second because the next thing I know a car has overtaken me and got in the gap between me and the car in front, he had about 2 feet to spare front and back.

I have no idea but a change in sellers sentiment would bring prices down 30%, what would cause this reality in their tiny minds. Maybe another offical recession.
