MrPin
No, he is a nut job who thinks the E.U will save us from our own socialist nightmare. I salute your "extra Welsh" Miyagi name! A son of the valleys! If I walk a little way I can see Wales, for I am the other side of the water, but only just!

Caius
That is nonsense unless you're some fire breathing Welsh language speaking nut job That I am afraid is a very ignorant thing to say. How can you label somebody because they can speak a certain language. Besides, in my experience, some of the most passionate Welsh people don't speak the language. Anyway, to go back to my last post which brought about your comment above. I'm only going by what people stated in the last Census with regards to their ethnicity. And guess what......the Engli9sh also preferred to be labelled as English as opposed to British. The Scots too. I make statements here based on facts and not emotion. Should we conclude then that those English who chose to identify them as such are Morris dancing English speaking nut jobs? :-)

I should add that generations of being in the United Kingdom haven't done us too much good has it? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/welsh-valleys-bulgaria-romania-comparisons-2525215
Dorkins
You think wales is bad check out Northern Ireland. 26 councils. 600 councillors. 108 assembly members. 18 MPs. Population 1.8 million. Northern Ireland also gets 3 MEPs, 1 per 600,000. Meanwhile London (population 8 million) gets 8 MEPs. pl1
It's just seems a little strange then that you are now a couple of hours later than the above post, posting on another thread. Don't catch too much sun. :-) Schoolboy error. We are all mobile now. Why as I type this I'm looking at a dying sunset.
The Masked Tulip
Loads of 50-somethings in the Welsh Public Sector would love all the Councils merged - think of all the massive pay-offs and paid up pensions. They all could go and buy BTLs.

Kipper
Don't live like this. Life is too short and too precious to have such an insular mindset. Explore the unknown possibilities of existence. Good God man, judging by the number of posts, you seriously need to try exploring life outside this Forum. Are you, perhaps, bedbound ? Get a life...please. generation jones
http://wales.gov.uk/newsroom/housingandcommunity/2013/130419rentinghomes/?lang=en this seems to be an appropriate place to put this - more bureaucracy or sensible approach?
