  1. I really shouldn't like this as I'm not a fan of Garage music....
  2. According to wikiwoos - Fifth largest oil exporting country in the world Fit Burds
  3. I've only been for a couple of days but agree with most of what you say - It's inhabited by robots/drones. Not like any se asian city I've been to, Bangkok, KL etc. Quality of life is up there but it's a weird place imo
  4. This thread is a good one. http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/189444-where-is-better-than-the-uk/ Sweden & Germany!
  5. We're renting a 2 bed unit here in Canberra & recently got a rent reduction from $470pw to 430pw - Good tenants, treat the place as our own, been in the same place for 3 yrs. Renters get a fairly good deal in Australia imo - We pay rent & 1 bill (electricity) Body corporate, council tax, water rates are all sucked up by the LL - hence the fairly large rents/pw Houses in Canberra are 'up' 4% - Sydney has been bubbling for years & hopefully we'll see drops throughout the year.
  6. Make your mind up! I've been In Australia for just under 4 yrs & must say it's the best move I've ever done. Couldn't be more happier living here - The positives far outweigh the negatives.
  7. I see Paris is on the list - On the market: Refurbished two-bedroom flat in the 4th Arrondissement, close to the Seine: £630,000
  8. $44 - prices have dropped since you were there https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_36444/crown-lager
  9. When this thread was started - Germany & Sweden were the most popular countries that were mentioned - wonder if those posters still feel the same way?
  10. Caius - What do you call a Welshman with a chip on each shoulder? Well balanced.
  11. Ban ALL islamic immigratioin - repatriation programme installed Agree with the overseas (Falklands) comment regarding prisoners Small fee for visiting GP and A&E - also for ambulance - BTL & second home 'owners' should be liable for council tax/rates & water etc ...
  12. Oh dear, another 3 bed semi with a study/storage room. Great floor plan with rendering - you'd struggle to open the car doors in the 'garage'
