AvidFan
Noises being made by labour in the late hours of the campaign for electoral reform suggest labour want and are now in a position to form a coalition with the Lib Dems. AvidFan
David Blunkett has just been on the BBC saying his instinct is that Labour have lost and should unite with other anti-conservative forces.

Vince Cable for chancellor, anyone? Labour would form a coalition with al'quida if it meant they could stay in power, I don't know why the media give nu labia airtime, they are all full of $hit. AvidFan
BBC picking up on GB saying that it his duty to form stable government. David Miliband on now saying the same thing. GB will have first say in forming a coalition. Labour victory
AvidFan
Lots of angry voters who were turned away all over the UK. Maybe this is the UK's George Bush moment?

Milton
lib/lab talks have started...question being asked by dibs... God I hope that doesnt happen. Myself and my 2 brothers voted for Lib Dems, in the hope of a hung parliament, in the hope of falling house prices. Have I just sold my soul to the devil? Surely it will be Lib Dem/Con/Ulster, or some such? Edited May 7, 2010 by Dan1

Milton
Well done Liberals You voted Clegg and will get Brown Thanks for that I simply cannot believe that the Lib Dems will form a gov with Labour. [brown staying on? No chance] What would Lab/Lib Dem mean for HPC? Edited May 7, 2010 by Dan1

Guest Noodle
God, I hope you're right It seems his foul stench and jowly face is still stinking up No.10 this morning Another 5 years of the default Prime Minister . . . by default. Seriously now, time the Queen called time on this farce, dissolved the lot and had the election process changed to one member one vote. Britain will pay dearly for this now. Couldn't have put it better but all hope is not lost its down to the wire remember the N/Irish mostly dont take their seats also a few independents are pro tory over Labour also a bi election in a very safe tory seat is next month. Whats a damming result on our system though where the winners may lose

Milton
Nick Robinson on BBC News just hypothesised a Conservative / Lib coalition. If Lab/Lib Dem coalition. They would do nothing for a year. No cuts. Wont address the deficit. After a year the UK would be completely and utterly f@@@@d. They would bring on the mother of all crashes. The truth is that Labour have not lost so many seats since 1931. So a disaster for Labour, however they try to spin it. kenny dalglish
nice to see that voter dissatisfaction did not translate to bnp support as many on these boards predicted (or tory landslide come to that). It's almost as if the rest of the country doesn't share the view of the cranks and loons that litter these boards. I guess many here must be scratching their shaven heads this morning... Yes, particularly nice to see that after Nick Griffen parachuted himself into Barking, thinking it hios best chance to be a "real" politician, the BNP vote share in the constituency is down on 2005 ! Seems like even your basic bog standard rascists don't like Griffen much ! Yours, TGP

Indeed, I enjoyed that. Griffin failing to get elected in humiliating fashion and Jacqui Smith losing her seat were small crumbs of comfort.
